DD, in fairness to PFC the canteen is run by a catering firm who are a sponsor of the club and cater for the President's lunches as well.
Prices at the canteen for comparison.. Burger $7 Chips(large) $4
At Joondy... run by Venues West Burger $10 (dry and horrible) Chips (small) $5 and a small bottle of water $4 disgraceful pricing.
Our canteen is probably one of the best in quality and pricing.
For goodness sake, we are down in many areas, but please give some credit where it is due.

Smokey just because we are $3 cheaper than the absurd price charged at Venues West Arena, it doesn't mean iit'sa fair price for a burger at the footy. That's the trouble with this joint, one arsehole jacks the price up and everyone else follows like sheep but then says, we are cheaper than down the road.

Why the club would hand it over to a catering company is beyond me. Surely there are mothers, wives, teenagers associated with the club that could use a few extra dollars and some catering experience? There is a tipping point where a person stops and thinks, do I need that burger at $7? It's right on the edge of greedy if you ask me.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, THE BOOM IS OVER. The sooner people wake up to that the better off this town willbe.
Get on your bike.

I'm not buying that those 8 players wouldn't make a difference. That's complete nonsense. White, Bateman, Hodge in our midfield would have made a huge difference; Morton up forward would have counted for at least a few goals, as would Stack, on song. Irons would have counted, too. And, who knows what value Lawrence would add, but he would offer another option upforward. I'm not saying we would have won, but I do think with those players (4 ex AFL, 4 very solid WAFL players) would have brought us closer. If you can name the 4 ex AFL players, and 2 former best & fairest's, and a solid WAFL player like Morton missing from the West Perth side then name them. And, and I'm afraid that not having the likes of M<zungu, College, McInnes and Tunbridge not out there for us when they should have been would have made a huge difference. Please name the current West Perth players now playing for Peel and East Perth.
And, ALL clubs have former players running around from other clubs. We have Rodgers, Elari, Houghton, Busher, and Ugle from other clubs from memory. I know Donovan is at Swans, but hasn't played yet. And I think Cruise is playing Peel reserves.

Thats the bit we as Perth supporters should be dirty on,all those players gone.
Ugle should not have been cleared to Peel!!!

What i said was (out of 8 players) maybe 3 would have made a difference and i stand by that.
Morton,Morton and White were certainly missed,Chance is probably at the crossroads with his constant injury worries.
Stacky is way to inconsistant to know what you will get out of him one week to the next but yes on song no worries sadly thats not to often.
Hodgey i reckon we have seen the last of him so i wouldnt be including him.
The rest i will leave up to others to decide there worth(Lawrence and Irons)

Reckon West Perth wouldnt mind Kepler Bradley,Mark Seaby and Mitch Andrews back from Claremont.

That's not the point: Bradley, Seaby and Andrews aren't at West Perth anymore, the players I mentioned are at Perth. And that proves my point - all clubs have players running around at other clubs. So, Perth aren't alone in losing players and that's not an indication that we are a basket case. You proved my point!

Ugle would have won his battle to be cleared to Peel (just like the young forward from East Perth won his battle to be cleared to West Perth). This way at least we got some good players in return. McKenna, in particular, has been good. Gianntti has been serviceable, and, yes, we'll wait on Lawrence.

Since you couldn't name the 4 ex-afl players missing from West Perth, and the two former club fairest and best's, and a player of the ilk of J. Morton, I presume there wasn't any, meaning with those players, who are on our list and currently are not available because of injury, we might have got closer to them on Saturday.

PD, we had Jordon Jones, Max Alexander, Marc Crisp, Ray Bartholemew, Shane Zanetti out of our side last Saturday, 3 of those are premiership players !

Name one club that has as many ex players as us running around with other WAFL clubs?
We currently have a huge number.
So i havent proved anything to you!

As far as Basket case, you would be one of the very few that didnt think we were.
Did you listen to radio callback(6pr) 2 weeks ago??

I dont care if Ugle would had won his battle to get cleared, sooner or later this bloody club has to draw a line in the sand with players wanting clearances, make a stand.
We would have got a fair tranfer ammount for Ugle.
Heres an idea get the transfer cash and go out and recruit to replace!!!!

Why do you reckon Peel gave up those 3 players just to get one in return????

And Leedy beat me to it naming those players missing from the West Perth line-up.

I hear your pain 30+ as we have a few at other clubs also ..off the top of my head- Latch, Wolfenden, Johnston, Garstone, Twomey, Robinson, Daniels, Adams, Potente, Shea, Lawler, Gill, Pullman, K.Hams & Williams all played with us are now at other clubs not including Newman, Bennell, Pearce, Blakely, Hughes playing fairly regularly at WART & FART and then the likes of Blackwell, Krakouer, Spencer, Embley, Hildabrandt, Jacky who have all pulled the pin in the last 12 months!

Problem with Perth is that no one accepts responsability for its plight or position. Every other club has a coach or captain or administrator who steps up to make a stand.

If I was the coach, and they failed to recruit for next season, I would not be there to be coach in 2016. In 2000, the club won one game. Did Swans have a player sent-off in that game?
