Great input to a thread boys. Your parents would be very proud of you..

It saddens me greatly to see the depths to which the club has descended to. I cannot recall another WAFL club ever looking so insipid.
To add insult to injury I paid $15 yesterday for a burger and chips. The burger was dryer than a dead dingo's donga.
Only $10 at most other grounds. And then I paid $4 for a small bottle of water. I could have got 3 litres of petrol for less.

Get a start in every other team in the comp? That's being very optimistic there TFAF. He has turned it around yes but I don't think he'd get a regular league game at Subiaco, East Perth or even West Perth for that matter.

Spot on smokey, this club threw the kitchen sink behind McMahon when it came to recruiting because they invested so much faith in him. I suspect they are still licking their wounds and now don't want Earl Spalding to be successful too quickly so they don't look so stupid.

You are also spot on about the food and beverage prices at that ground. I had words with a WP official at qtr time and he said they are not happy about it but it's out of their hands. It us controlled by Venues West who contract it out to Compass group who contract it out to some other mob who obviously don't have a clue. I tried to get a hot dog at the footy but they said already sold out (at qtr time) yeh right. I said out of interest how much is a hot dog? They said $7. I refused to pay $10 for a hamburger at the footy.

I certainly hope you guys are able to turn it around in the next 3 years. You have seen what the host club alignment has done to the club formerly known as East Perth. Rest assured the Eagles will have no problems ditching the club formerly known as East Perth if they think they can get into bed with Perth and given the tremendous support you guys have given your club over many lean years it would be extremely disappointing for Perth to be extinguished like East Perth.

Swan42,I'm starting to think the Eagles wont want to jump into bed with a basket case like us,why would they give up EP who have a strong fan base and a good finals history and a travelling pretty well at the moment?

Give up all that to cross over to the PFC who couldnt organise a ro*t in a brothel with a fistfull of hundreds!!
East Perth as co tenants at Lathlain makes better business sense!

Yesterdays game was just another eaxample of below par off season planning.

Half the team yesterday had 10 disposals or less,what type of footy team gets those stats?
And those high number of players for low disposals has been a feature of our play in the first 3 games.

I reckon get a good look at Tropiano because i reckon he will go back to East Freo next season or end up at a club like Subi.

The Eagles give four fifths of nothing about East Perth, their supporter base or anything else with respect to the WAFL. They just want to do what they want with absolutely no concern on the impact of the WAFL competiton.

All you Perth guys seem to just look at all the negatives when you watch a game. The Sunday Times even mention that Jacob Payne did an great job in restricting Strijks influence but you guys did not even mention that in this thread. You just concentrate on who will kick you a lot of goals not the guys that do the hard work.

I hope the Eagles go with you guys in the future so some of you will be happy for a change.

You still have the best canteen by an absolute streak. Best selection, best service and good prices. You should be happy with that.
