Can we break the drought, who knows. Has been another terrible season and what happens between now and the next 12 months are the most important for the future of the club. If we are still in the same position this time next year then I can see us merging with the Eagles in 2018.

In saying that though it would be nice to finish off the season on a happy note with a win.

Good to hear on last nights show that a couple of younger players in Daniel Arangio and Cody Leggett are a chance to come in and make their league debut.

Brookes, Manuel and Moody all named in the reserves as well as the league team. Interesting to see that J Morton is named in the reserves. I would have thought that he would be straight back into the league team if he was good to play. Maybe he missed a session or something, who knows....

Unfortunately I think there will be copious amounts of rancid garlic deposited over the Perth players faces, by 5pm Saturday...

You can probably chuck the meatballs and sauce in with that garlic now I reckon, disappointing way to check out the season at home.

I suppose it is no longer relevant now the season is done but why has
Williams continued the same thought process as McMahon and continued to play
Stack in the reserves. Would have thought he would be one of the first selected up forward?

Not one morton played the last game interesting to know how many league games each has played this year through out there afl careers they spent alot of time injured on the sidelines not sure why perth thought this year would be different personally i think they are a waste of high point player value u can handle your zone players missing games but your 10 point players should be your quality match winners and need to play week in week out for me a key factor in recruiting a player from another club or interstate would be there injury history and durability they would need to have played a high amoumt of games consistantly for the previous 3 or 4 years prior

Thank God it's over. Worst season in 36 years. And that's saying something.

Amen to that.

Just amazing watching that game on Saturday, for large parts of the first and second quarter we had no one inside our 50m arc. We'd win the ball across half back and there'd be no one forward of the player with the ball.

Almost every time we went forward in that game the player with the ball had to deliver it to the chest of a player running the same way as the ball. No one coming out of the forward line running at the ball carrier because they were invariably behind the player with the ball to start with. Every last element of that clown McMahon's bankrupt game plan needs to be purged from this playing group. Next year I'd love to see a forward line that runs towards the ball carrier instead of away from him!

Put a 6' 4" power forward in the goal square that can take a grab, can kick a goal, ditto for CHF surround them with quick on there feet smaller forwards and watch the game plan within the forward line change.
Keep it as a midget forward line then they will always go up the ground chasing kicks as per under the current/past coaching regime.

We would have to be one of the very few clubs that changes coach mid season and not win at least one game under the caretaker coach!

Hopefully the new coach sees the value at WAFL level the need for quality tall kpp's.
Get the spine right and thats half the battle something past coaches have ignored.
