What are peoples thoughts on Steve Malaxos? Even if it's only as an assistant.

If West Coast plan on moving into Laithlain maybe the thought process is to jump into bed with them now and appoint Cox even untried. Is this the only way out and be successful? Where did the Micale rumour come from? Bit from left field seeing the Sharks will play finals in both grades.

considering Ken Armstrong was the last PFC coach to get them into a GF and Malaxos recently coached EF to one in 2012, not too sure what your FMD is all about mate
Don't reckon Stavros has the ego to be an assistant, though if Leigh Matthews took the main job at PFC, Stavros wouldn't have much choice eh?

If Stavros was that great East freo wont let him go.
In all honesty if he was appointed it wouldnt say much about the quality of the other 14 applicants.
Best served at Shark Park,i reckon he rates alongside Dunbar.

30+ The only ex EF coach to apply is Spalding.
That's my only worry with the Club's and CEO's links to Wesley.
From what I heard yesterday Guerra is very keen.
Not sure how true that is.

than PFC had had 30 odd years worth of Dunbars then!!!....at least Stavros has coached in a league GF mate......can't think of ONE PFC coach who has done that since Armstrong in 78.....but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.....I reckon EF need a change at the top, Stavros to me has reached his zenith at the club, would love to see a Brent Guerra or a Simon Black type take his place......reckon PFC will go to an ex Perth boy in Spalding.....ha ha now that would be gold in my view.

Mate i've never shied away from how shit Perth have been for the past 30 years plus so no bite there,so no need to correct you.
But no point in going even further backwards taking unwanted Ex East Freo coaches who havent won a flag as opposed to getting a team to a GF.

Heres an idea,Stavros stays at East Freo until he gets you to a GF and wins a flag and for good measure he can have Spalding as his assistant!
