Has anyone ever heard Steven Armstrong talk. Doesn't look you in the eye, very quite. I never saw him get many hard balls on the track either. No to senior coach.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

If McMahon doesn't improve on last year BH I would have to say he will be gone. I am an optomistic person and have not ruled out we will make the finals though. I will be at Perths next 5 games and will comment more on out coach then. I do find it humerous that most football posters always want to hang a coach tough. From Malthouse, to Hselby to Worsfold Neesham. NOt to many posters do much around the clubs they support but often want ot denigrate people around their club that do. to Are you sure you are not a closet Perth supporter? All the best Damien for now and I would love it if Perth and he reached the final. People are people and have families and finances to control and bills to pay and jerks get on here and call for his head casus he upset there little boy etc. We will all be dead soon enough and for long enough give people a break and some understanding

McMahon is on a 1 plus 1 contract which he signed at the end of 2013. This means that at the end of the year either he can say he wants out or the club can make the decision for him.

The coach, the players, the other coaches and board members can be judged on their roles within the football club IMO. But they should be judged on their roles only and their ability to perform them. Plenty of people involved in this game have been dud coaches, players or crap administrators but as blokes they are perfectly fine.

As I said on another post this season has been extremely frustrating. We have been in winning positions in every game we have lost so far apart from the Subiaco game in round eight. The losses so far West Perth by 18-points, Swan Districts by 1-point and 37-points, East Perth by 22-points, Subiaco by 34-points and East Fremantle by 9-points.

Watching the games it shows that when we play our best football we can take it up to most teams. The problem lies that we can't seem to do it for long enough. Whether that is to do with fitness, game plan, key players being injured or inexperienced players I'm not sure.

All I know is that we need to start getting results and badly otherwise another season will be lost.

Coaches are on the big money in the WAFL compared to most players, so the buck stops with him to a large extent I reckon.

Mcdud was a mistake full stop!!!!! I would compare his appointment with that other half wit Damian Drum at Fremantle. How these two clowns achieved those appointments is beyond me. You could also throw in that bloke who was recently at Melbourne. I think his name was Neale. All fuking useless!!!!!!! :woohoo:

I was suggesting having someone in the role in a position that was similar to that which Percy was talking about. These days it is extremely important to get the development system right and make sure that you develop your own kids. Yes some will get drafted and good on them but there are always players that will only be state footballers.

One thing that I have noticed is that Perth don't seem to be able to develop their kids as well as other clubs do and I am talking about the players that don't get drafted. Can anyone tell me the last five players to play 100 games for the PFC?

Scott Siekierka, Kade Lang, Troy Cook, Brendan Jones and Chris Bossong were the last five from memory.

Compare it to Claremont, one of the best sides of the last 10 years. David Crawford, Trinity Handley, Clancy Rudeforth, Luke Blackwell, Chad Jones, Michael Warren, Ian Richardson, Rory Walton, Anthony Jones and Jaxon Crabb.
