Freezin, I did not say anyone was jostling for the position BUT there are several possibilities out there with profiles and form that would be very good gets for any WAFL club. We just have to be out there with commitment and suss out those possibilities before other clubs beat us to the draw.
And I know that there are people within the club who consider that cost may be no major barrier to attracting the right person for the job and that person must be given full reign to build his own coaching and player structures throughout each grade and not be forced to rely solely on club diehards.
This would take a complete change in the current forward thinking of the Board and, indeed, to new people at Board level with influence and vision.

Were have these rumors about Perth and the eagles come from.

Like I said smokester, I have heard of Harris just not "etc". Everyone seems happy to mention Harris's name ,why not the other names? Throw out some names mate,that's all I am asking.

As for WCE and Perth, can't see how the two clubs can share facilities without some form of hand holding. Especially when it involves a shed load of money just makes financial sense.

Freezin, the names of Harvey and Ayres have already been thrown up. Harris,of course, has previously been rumoured as interested in a coaching gig and his name continually comes up.
I have no confirmed knowledge of anyone but the possibilities are numerous and any club that needs to look at a new coach would,I expect, be sussing out any name thrown onto the table.
I would naturally be very dismayed if my club were not actively out there engaging in dialogue with all possibilities, coaches and playing recruits alike..

I can't see any other scenario if Perth want to stay at Lathlain, three into one just does not go.

I have heard nothing.
Rumours do surface from time to time but the sources are usually unreliable at best and at worst stupid and ridiculous.

Bazza best you say nothing further without knowing the circumstances of the negotiations.
PFC position very much protected in the negotiations by both Town of VP and the Eagles.
Not sure how a 20 year lease would force PFC into anything else other than control of the3ir own destiny.

Well from what I've heard your man is ready and waiting. Agree re Micale and we know how that will end up with his history with the Eagles. Fark that, the whole idea of ground sharing with them is to improve our facilities and reduce our overheads. That's where that association starts and ends as far as I am concerned.
