Well this is a must win for both sides. Perth haven't put in a full performance all season and East Fremantle's star players are yet to find form. I'm tipping with my head here and not my heart and going to say the Sharks by 4 goals.

thing is EF aren't playing at present with either heart or head.....will be interesting to see how this result pans out......Moody is Perth's Tim Geappen to EF....always struggle to keep that fella down on the score board.....the Morton boys haven't all clicked at once yet for Perth.....due to soon I guess!!

Listened to the show tonight and when an extended squad was read out I heard Rowan Brookes, Joel Kalajzic, Joel Houghton, Ryan Gray and Reece Richardson's names called out.

Hoping that Brookes plays. Has a good set of hands from what I have heard.

Bad news about Tim Hunt. IMO he looked close to getting a league game soon. Was finding form after a late start to preseason and now he's out for the next 4-6 weeks. You don't want to write the bloke off but if he misses 6 weeks that's when our next bye is.

I like the look of the lad. Can find the footy, has pace and can kick the odd goal or two. But when he gets back it leaves only 8 games left of the home and away season. That's also taking into count that he misses just 6 weeks and there's no hiccups.

I read in an article on him from one of the country papers that he said he was going to come over and try with Perth and if they could fit him onto their list they would. If they couldn't he would play in the amateurs. I think he was coming across here for work anyway the article said.

Depending on how bad is shoulder is he could hardly play at all for the rest of the season. Maybe 4-5 games in the back half of the year.

Being a 10-point player this is obviously a pain. What if the club de-registered him but he still trained and did his rehab as if he were a part of the team. He could sign up to an amateurs side just to keep his touch up if he wanted but would still be getting the benefits of a WAFL training workload. As I said I like the look of him and think he deserves a chance. He had an interrupted preseason this year hence his start in the two's. He would be able to get himself right and touch wood be fine for the commencement of preseason in November this year.

The 10-points could be spent then on areas that need addressing in the side this year. Might just find another Jarryd Morton????? I highly doubt we will find someone of that value to our team but we might just be able to find 1-2 players that can come and perform a role for the team for the rest of 2014.

I wouldn't take much notice of the positions they are listed in on the WAFL website. They put names all over the place. I just look at who is listed in the league and ressies to get a rough idea of the squad. Forgot about butters there for a second. He could use a trip to Bunnings.

Sorry to get off topic Perth guy's but what ever happened to the ex-Subi/Esperance player Julian Jacobs ??? He was playing great footy for you guy's last year.
