Yeah just putting it out there, if other coaches can't reign him in there's no chance our coach could.

I found the clubs statement a bit confusing. It seemed to be saying that because Dayle hasn't indicated his footy intentions that he wasn't a part of their plans but that if he wanted to play they might reconsider. Have I misunderstood what Bottrall said?

I'm not really sure what he was saying either but it certainly wasn't "Welcome back Dayle!"

Hawthorn appear to me to be 'frustrated' with him but are taking the professional way of wishing him well.... and stepping away for good me thinks.

The next years will likely have this young mans name splashed across many pages of the Sports sections and this forum for many reasons - Sadly I don't believe they will be good ones.

If it was as easy as just "homesickness" at Hawthorn then yeah why wouldnt you grab him.
He does seem to be all over the place so would it be worth the risk,probably not.
