Outstanding win. Can't quite believe they were able to get back from 44 points down. Got absolutely blown off the park in the first 15 minutes but really impressed the way they stuck at it and ground their way back into it.

Plenty of top performance but Clem Smith in that second quarter mopping up off half back, Irons and Keast in tagging roles on Hams and Miller and Leyyendeckers herculian last quarter were magnificent.

Yes the experience of the Mortons was telling in that last quarter. Throwing Jarryd forward and Bevo back was a smart move. Some smart moves pulled there tonight.

Very very impressive comeback by the boys. I rate that win higher than the first up flogging of Claremont who looked less than ordinary. That win will do the boys belief the world of good. Can't believe Cale Morton was named in the best though on the WAFL site, is father Noel picking the best players? Hope he has lots of improvement in him, especially his disposal.

Clem Smith is real special and a monty to get drafted. Glad we are getting every game out of him before the Teal Cup. He has a bit of Byron Pickett about him, backs himself and beautiful disposal. Callum Collard kept us in the game on the scoreboard in the first half and carried on with it in the second half. Love this kid.

Mitch Morton started slowly butwas used to good effect at both ends of the ground, was a steadying influence down back when we needed to get back into the game and then used his goal kicking experience to help get us over the top of them.Some terrible skills early in the game got us into deep trouble, mostly terrible kicking into forward 50. Wasn't sure about Keirin Hug after last week and first half tonight but he played a blinder in the second half.

Keep it up boys, you did yourselves proud tonight.

Bill Monoghan was on the outer tonight, big test next week against the reigning premiers at Joondy.

That bloody clock at fremantle oval is all over the shop. That's twice now I have seen it hit the 40 minute mark (no injuries on either occasion). Hit the 35 minute mark in the last quarter as well.

Completly different team from quarter time. Well fort out and well coached. So close to going the other way. South's must have had 2 pings for goal with 30 seconds to go.

All players would be very happy with them selves. Never that easy to drag yourself off the canvas. And when they were 43 points down early in the 2nd they were on the canvas.

By eradicating sleepy quarters and we may go somewhere this year.

A character building effort tonight. Back from 44 points down and a real team effort.
Don't anyone underestimate the influence of the Morton boys. They are worth every one of their 32 points both as players and their leadership. They are playing for the jumper and enjoying being together. Their AFL experience really shows.

Mitch Leyendekkers put in another herculean effort tonight. Seaby last week and Sellar this week. Sellar looked dangerous early but Mitch fought his way back and was most effective both on the ball and around the ground.

Dean White continues to be a dominant midfielder. He was most effective at the clearances. I haven't seen the stats but he was great in and under and well supported by Kieran Hug. Brad Keast gave another good performance running with Ashton Hams and keeping him very quiet.

Overall a great team effort full of intensity and discipline. Keep it up boys. West Perth next week will really test us.

Wow wee, went along tonight, what a fight back by the Dees, poor old Souths !

Was impressed by Collard, Hug (give the man a Hug) Least and thought the Morton boys lifted after half time too, without Moody was a good comeback and were the better team by far after QT

bit of redemption for the Perth clan for that debacle in the last quarter v SF a few years back.....good advertisment for Friday night footy and more importantly the WAFL.
