Similar to that on the East Fremantle thread and South Fremantle thread I thought about a possible line up come round one this season. In bold are players that did not play in the last game against the Bulldogs in 2013.

B: Sinclair, Risol, Billings

HB: Jacobs, Houghton, J. Morton

C:Florio, Hodge, C. Morton

HF: Leeson, Leyendekkers, M.Morton

F: Boyle, Bevan, Stack

R: Eyres, Moody, Bateman

INT: O’Sullivan, White, Ransted, Kane, Irons, Kalajzic, Smith, Hug, Richardson, Fry, Johnston, Hunt, Chrimes, Moreno, Garstone, Ugle, Biggs, Collard, Manuel, Busher

Not a bad looking side, still short of one genuine big bodied tall forward though.

There is definitely some height in the backline with four players all over 190cm.

Depending on where Mitch Morton spends most of his time, there are potentially three players if you add Stack and Bevan that are capable of kicking over 40 goals in a season.

I was recently looking at Cale Morton's highlights package for WA before he was drafted. I noticed that at times he played forward and looked to be a pretty good overhead mark. I know these are "HIGHLIGHTS' packages and anything he does wrong is hardly going to be shown, but he could be another option to be thrown forward every now and then.

I don't think Leyendeccers could hold down chf just yet but am happy to be wrong there. Very sure that Jarrod Irons would be much better than Billings in the back pocket. Also would have Ali Smith in the starting line up. Thanks as always for your updates.

Leyendekkers was at CHF as a tall/second ruckman. He doesn't have to play there, maybe a forward pocket but we still need one person at least with some height down there.

I think Irons will play a lot more this year than he did in 2013 and it was probably an oversight on my behalf to leave him out. Billings though could play, depending on the opposition.

Over the last couple of years we have seen some young players blooded and some of these look ok but obviously need to play more regularly to improve there development and see if they are up to scratch.

It will be interesting to see who lines up come round one.

There has been doubt about the availability of Leyendekkers and Ali Smith and I am a bit surprised that you have not mentioned Tedesco. Is there any news on these players?
If fully fit surely Busher would be in our best 22.

Would of thought Gerard Ugle would be a walk up start in that line up, considering there's no sign of Smith lack of a CHF and CHB concern me greatly.

yep both KP's have been a problem for years especially CHF,we try and fail to turn players into CHF'S.Ruckmen never excel there,this is a specialists position,i always say its no coincedence that our last finals appearance we had a dominant Brett Spinks at CHF.

Our rucks/midfield for mine is another area of concern.

Unfortunately I think that there is more than just some doubt surrounding the availability of Leyendekkers and Smith, I hope I'm wrong but I've been lead to believe that neither will be lining up this year. Also, I been told that work commitments have got in the way of Julian Jacobs lining up as well, as above I'm not 100% sure. I've been down to training a couple of times and haven't spotted any of these guys. I understand that Busher is just returning from overseas and that Hodge is due back in a couple of weeks.

Leyendekkers and Smith have not been mentioned yet as losses as far as I am aware. A mate that attended the AGM said that Leyendekkers was traveling and Smith was harvesting. And unfortunately I don't think Teddy is going around again.

KPP players are always hard to find let a lone keep. Picked up a good one though in Risol last year. As for the midfield I think there are plenty of players that are capable of playing there or spending 5-10 mins there. Tue ruck department would look great with another addition. Someone like Bonaddio from Port Melbourne would be great. Still room for 1-2 possible recruits, whether they happen though is a different story.
