PH I heard something similar. Word down that way was perth wasn't giving enough to the lad. Shame to hear, but hopefully he sticks with the club and gets some games under his belt this season

What is your take on training at this stage Mr AFL ?

I have only been there a couple of times Smokey and with the players training three times a week and with different work schedules I don't think that everyone has been out on the track at the same time yet. Once they are we will be able to get a better grasp on it.

If we are able to keep Leyendekkers, Ali Smith and Tedesco as well as sign Cale Morton and pick up a tall marking forward then I think we would have done pretty well in regards to the recruiting. Into the side obviously the Morton boys, Gerald Ugle and the continued development of the likes of young Mitch, Irons, Hunt, Sinclair and Hug etc...

Could be a big IF!
I reckon McInnes and Tunbridge will be huge outs for us combine this with the likelyhood of those outs and i reckon to date we havent recruited anywhere near enough to address the obvious deficiencies.
Reckon also we need more than just a tall marking forward to round off our 2014 recruiting campaign!!
When you look at our definate outs:Reimers,Sketcher,McIness,Tunbridge,Colledge
Possible outs:Ali Smith,Llyendekkers,Tedesco
Ins:Mitch Morton,Ugle,Billings??
Possible ins:Cale Morton.
The ledger is definately leaning towards the "outs" outweighing the "ins" by a long shot!

It also seems to me that most of the good young ones we have coming through our ranks are all the same type/ilk of player...mid/small sized players.

Sorry, 30+ some of the exciting talent coming through are 192-196cm talls Moreno 193, Biggs 196, Busher 192, Garstone 196, all coming out of the Colts system.
