So its come down to the last 5 weeks of the season. Gee dosnt time fly when your having fun! I must admit it has been one of the most entertaining years of footy for quite some time....not just from a Perth POV but from the competition as a whole.

Well the boys have a weekend off and there is a big function at the club tonight so I hope they have a good rest maybe a stubbie or two and be ready to head down to slimy moss St to knock off the gummies.

As you boys have already made reference this game against EF is one of the biggest of the year (I know I say that every week). IMO if we go down and go down by any more than 4 goals that might just take it away from us and taking the red and black glasses off that should just about be it for another lost finals campaign.

Boys I would like to get your opinion on...... With 5 weeks to go you were the coach for those 5 weeks what would be the 5 things you would absolutely make sure happen! Here are min...
1. Smith and Reimers back in. Rotate Reimers through the middle.

2. Change the message to the forward line. Stack never leaves the forward 50 and play a spare man in defence to cover the full back running forward and leave someone in our forward line. Remember the days of a bloke called stinger Rea? Never left the forward square and we always had a goal kicking option. I am sick and tired of seeing the ball pitched up above Stacks head!

3. Bateman plays on the wing. He might not have the run of a young bloke but when he runs on the wing he plays his highest possession footy!

4. Mortyn at CHF. This guy is one of the best marks in the comp and he is fast. Mcinnes takes 95% of his marks on the wing and the flank so start him on the flank and let morts lead up the centre.

5. Bring one more crummer into the league side for the remainder of the year - Collard, Donovan, Egan?

Why not put Reimers one out in the 50... If he's half as good as he thinks he is he'll kick 10+ per game

Ali Smith back in.

Morton to stay at CHB.

Riemers to kick a couple of six goal hauls or to get a look of interest in him before being considered.

Stack to switch on from start and to chase harder and again look more desperate

Continue with Leyendeckers to back up Eyers.

Keep Ash Smith out of team.

Retain Sam Butler in team.

Keep Houghton, Deaves, Kane, Hunt, Collard, Donovan, Irons, Richardson, Busher, Mather Hug and the like interested.

Maintain Joel Lesson form somehow.

Tough run home, all are winnable and all except the final game are just as losable. East Freo's percentage is a worry though. Lose to them next week and it will be enough to wreck the season IMO.

Not being a Perth supporter, am unable to comment on any team changes to keep the winning streak going. Perth have won their last 5 matches, so I'm in the conclusion of not changing the mix too much. HUGE game coming up next week (East Fremantle v Perth) and will be important for both clubs to grab the win. I suppose a draw could also be possible?

Keep ash smith out? Keep butler in? Coach has zero control over that one
