Who will coach the Lucifer? Pickering, Williams, Broadbidge, Darren Harris?

If the club can get Darren Harris they should throw the cheque book at him. If I recall he went back over east when he finished up with WP? He would have to be enticed to come back....which may be an issue!

Out of the other 3 I am not really sure.....Trevor is another colts coach turned league coach who has not yet tasted success, broadbridge and pickering well don't really know much about their previous achievements.

I remember going back to when Mcmahon was selected as league coach. Some of the names being bandied around at the time included bewick, harding,Barnard, Hynes to name a few. I know Harding took the swans job but not sure where the others ended up.

I actually think Marty might just pull a rabbit out of his hat on this one. He has some good football contacts and is respected in the WAFL community. Don't be surprised if someone unexpected (like Harris) shows up!

You would have to think if the rest of the season pans out the way i think it will we will finish no higher than 5th and could end up in 6th,which(either) will be unacceptable.
This is McMahons 3rd year he has already had 1 contract extension i doubt based on past results and what we have seen in 3 years that we can give him another one!

Trevor Williams may be a good assistant but lets remember he is a multiple(??) wooden spoon league coach at another club..no thanks.
Pickering he seems to be the old fashioned ranter,i have feeling that hes not what we need.
Broadbridge???Hes been in the wafl system for a lot of years you have to wonder why he hasnt picked up a league gig in the past...pass on him for mine.
Harris i have been wanting for years but i think he has too much red and blue running through his veins plus i reckon this could be Monaghans last season if he doesnt win a flag,Harris could end up back there.
Certainly Harris for mine is the pick of that bunch,yep throw whatever ammount we can afford at him.

Harrie is back in WA, coaching the Carine U/11s very successfully at the moment.

Chuck out some more players and support staff, it's probably their fault anyway. Give McMahon another chance.

If Harris did go back to WP obviously Bill Monaghan becomes available. Not saying we should go after him, just wondering what everyone's opinion is of him as a coach.

I think it's fair to say that WP have probably under-achieved in a couple of final series.
Fom memory both were prelims and both at there home ground when they were favourites to win,especially the prelim V Subi.
Yes he has guided them to quite a few finals series but he has had the cattle at his disposal..no flags though.

I'm a fussy bastard when it comes to our coach and Monaghan is one i wouldnt be interested in.
