I also like.

Donovan, Deaves, Richardson, Aranglio, Hug.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

What I am saying is that Ransted would go better at Boddington.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

I was a bit concerned at times but while we won I can't see us challenging Claremont, West Perth, East Perth or Swans on today's effort. We need to get our best players on the paddock and play like we did earlier in the year. I also though Morton went pretty well overall. I also though Julian Jacobs looked a bit off today - hopefully a one off because I do like the way he goes about it. Stacky looked a bit casual today at times I reckon.

DF, Ransted is a 68 league game player for our club and has served it well throughout some dark times. He would not be a walk up start at any club. He lacks an innate knowledge of the state of play, but he shows commitment to us. I would like him to stay around and help us win a league GF. THIS YEAR. I am not talking about developing players like Johnston at this stage because this (to me) can still be our year at League level. Both needed for the leag/ressies double.

Saying that I don't think either are in our best 22 atm.

Home and away season 7 weeks to go. No more talk of Boddington.

I agree on today's performance but on the day any thing can happen. We add Tunbridge, Ali, and see Leyendeccers hit his straps and anything can happen.

Matthew Moody only played 4 reserve games last year!

What a scrappy game of footy today was. No team was able to put together 15-20 minutes of GOOD football.

When Subiaco kicked the first three goals after half time and then Bevan kicked a goal for the Demons, how many points were kicked by both sides. My count was at least 10-11. This was before Moody broke the deadlock and kicked that brilliant goal from outside 50. That part of the game though for me summed up the match. Neither team could put the goals on the board. In saying all that we needed to get the four points and that's what we did.

Loved Joel Leeson's game. 27 disposals and three goals is the perfect way to mark your return to the League team.

From memory and correct me if I am wrong! ;)

Top 5 League:

1. Joel Leeson
2. Matthew Moody
3. Christian Eyres
4. Jarryd Morton
5. Chance Bateman

Top 5 Development:

1. Ali Smith
2. Mark Deaves
3. Kyle Reimers
4. Mitch Leyendekkers
5. Kane Ransted

Would I like to see Lammie in red and black? Absolutely, but who could we offer in trade? As I see it, only Bevan, Stack or Ali would be attractive to Swans and I would not wish to give up any of that trio.
If Ali was offered as a trade why would Swans not take him?
I don't think that any facts are out in the open on this matter but I do have a "conspiracy theory". Hmmm, perhaps one of the clubs outsmarted themselves.

perhaps BH, Swandog and the SD boys would be interested in Chad Sandilands!!! :silly:

SD don't need Ali Smith...they have more than enough quality midfielders.....Lammie is their only 'quality' ruck....Lobb is a few years off Lammies ability I reckon....Lammie will be a huge loss especially v CL & EP in the finals with their plethora of talls

Thankfully no deal went thru before last weekend freeze as we then got to see what quality of players Perth had to offer up first hand!!
