Looks like the outs are Smith, Reimers, Ranstead, Mather and Tunbridge.
Ins possibly Sinclair, Leeson, Collard, Manuel and Morton.

Ali Smith looked like he had other things on his mind at the qtr time huddle last week, might of been upset that the deal with Lammie fell through.

Yep looks like another "Elari".

An 11 point player playing ressies...whats going on there??
We need these guys firing in round 14 in the league team not playing in a much lower standard ressies comp!

Ransted well he may have a big heart etc....but gee if hes what we are relying on to reach a rare finals appearance we are in trouble.

30plus, I find it strange that the dumping of Ali Smith to the ressies is being avoided like the plague on this forum.
This guy was and is our best mid fielder and yet from what I hear he was offered up to Swans, It all fits now not good enough to play league in the coaching staffs opnion no doubt he'll be gone at years end as well, what is it 30 players in the last 6 months have left something stinks.
As for Reimers I reckon he might have other worries that the PFC at the moment, he may well have an infraction notice on its way from ASADA.

PN i agree.
Theres no doubt Smith is our best midfielder.

Look at White He's high possesion winner but how much does he hurt the opposition, what does he do with those disposals????
IMO..not much, take White's stats from the Swans game for example 21 diposals...5 kicks,16 handballs, how damaging are those 16 handballs??i dont think thats hurting the opposition at all.

We were up and about early in the year and when the pace is a bit slower but as the season has got into the business end we have dropped right away!
It appears on face value that the wheels are getting very wobbly and could fall off at any moment.

Reimers no doubt will be getting a call from ASADA.

Ali Smith best midfielder, possibly our best player and a barometer for us in my opinion.
Whatever is going on hope it gets resolved.
Have noticed Pickers rip into him a couple of times this year, but rest of midfield usually cop it at same time.

Of course he could just be out of form and the 'swap for Lammie' stuff a pile of shizer. It has only been mentioned by one person on here, with no basis. Wouldn't be the first time inaccurate reporting has taken on a life of its own online.

Be curious as to where it broke down if true.
If swans were resigned to losing Lammie, they would be thrilled to receive a player of Smiths quality.
IF Perth offered up Smith for Lammie no problems there.
If Smith unhappy and wanted out, no problem there.
If Lammie wanted out if Swans, trade arranged to Perth, share ruck duties with Eyres, Demons obviously rate him highly to offer up Smith, no problem there.

Suspect it is all a load of crap personally.

I cannot for the life of me understand any reasoning in a Lammie/Smith trade.

He is our best clearance player.

I do not trust the teams published on Thursdays never seems to line up that way.

I may be wrong but I am expecting Ali to play league tomorrow.

Would also be happy to see Morton debut for us in place of Ransted.

Need to turn it around for the season's sake.

Go DEES.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Swans people would know the person that told me very well he is in the inner sanctum, and I would trust this person before I would trust anything that comes out of the PFC, it was only reinforced to me last night what went down because I had to ask again, as you have stated probably in our best two at the club I found it mind boggling that he was offered up for a swap.

And btw you can suspect all you like its what went down, I couldn't careless if you don't believe first game back after injury last week and then gets immediately dropped to ressies mmmm strange.

Again nothing of substance. Swans people would know; I would trust this person blah blah blah.
Trust more than what comes out of Perth - unless I have missed something I don't think anything has come out fro Perth about Smith / Lammie????

So why did deal break down?

You might find this hard to believe but the deal was knocked back by Swans, anyway i'm not going to reveal the source so like I said to Smokey earlier it comes down to who you believe and there's no reason for me to doubt this person, anyway you keep towing the company line.

Makes sense - swans much preferred to lose a player and get nothing than lose a player and add Ali Smith to their midfield.

Nuff said.

Well I did the use the word mind boggling, anyway its a moot point the deal fell through, Ali Smith is still at Perth hopefully he can find his way back into the league side and he doesn't leave at the end of the year.
