Very true, Chaddy, but I'd say we got more out of Cooley and AJ than you guys got out of Narrier and Taylor. Maybe we should mutually avoid cast offs - they are not wanted/not good enough for a reason.

'touché'. i think finally spending some money on some decent afl/vfl recruits has helped your mob but still l need a couple more.

Totally agree Chaddy. Perhaps a ruckman and another key forward should do the trick.
We cannot underestimate the influence of a fit Thompson, Constable, Simpson, Clarke have on our home bred boys.

This is the key isn’t it? Distribution of effort. This has been coming for a while. Unlucky against EF, capable but ultimately tragic against WART and fkn desperate but not good enough at the right moments against Claremont. Byrne is a great player but with Thompson, Constable & Simpson he has gone to another level.

Smokey my wish list is for a 190cm plus rugged clearance machine.
Not sure about the stat's today but clearances don't seem to come our way often enough.

Didn't Leggett kick 8 v EF once?
