Ewing was limping off badly favouring his strapped leg in the last qtr but surprisingly came back on and looked ok.

No doubt adding extra class makes a world of difference. A Clarke, Constable and Byrne outstanding, and I thought Schlensog was excellent - not huge numbers, but gave a real contest. With Edwards going down, I would think we'll have to bring in either Scoble as a key back or Q as a key forward to allow Sog and Chaplin to change in the ruck. 

On a disappointing note - and I hope this is just an ugly rumour - I heard Cooley spat it after being dropped and has walked out.

You could be right Cooley didn't play reserves. Gets a lot of the ball but doesn't use it effectively. Good luck to him if he wants to move on. I imagine he's under contract. Bit late for a clearance to another WAFL club. Monday will be the 2nd of July. Probably country footy.

Well done to the Perth players, they showed WP how to play hard football, they run hard, marked hard & they didn't stuff around and just worked hard.

If Cooley has walked, we shouldn’t give him a clearance or permit to play anywhere. If he thinks he shouldn’t have been dropped, work hard in the reserves and make sure he’s never dropped again. That’s what a professional player would do

It was great to have our best players fit and ready to go. Their influence lifted the performance of all other players.
Byner is having a huge season- another 29 touches today and he used them well. 
It is great to have a full forward to kick goals. Eight today, well done Aaron.
The Charlie team did well in the middle and at stoppages - 50 touches between them giving great drive.
Best game yet from Slog. He is class. Backline was solid all day. Taylor les the way with solid support from Avery. 
Now we have seen what you can do we want to see more of it.

Cooley, Harley Sparks and where is Ajang. I will give you a tip don't recruit East Perth cast offs.
On a serious note happy to see you beat the old enemy. Surprised at your efficiency. You had a lot less inside fifties and were able to put a decent score on the board that could not be overhauled.
