Ted just on Gray.
He gets a lot of possessions in the ressies.
What role does he play?
Are we using him correctly in the league side?
Is he possibly a inside/clearance player?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

DF, I think Gray is supposed to be our run-with man. Gets big numbers in the ressies (40+) but no where near that at League level. Of his possessions he only kicks 10%. The rest are hand-balls not necessarily to advantage of the team.
IMHO, not up to League standard.
We do not have a run-with man.

But 40+ possessions in the ressies? Not sure he is doing that by tagging. 
So what's his role in the ressies?
And are we using him right in the league?
We've been exposed 2 weeks in a row in clearances.
Firstly by Janssen and this week by Culley.

Pretty hard to get serious game time into players when there are so many bloody byes. It seems like it’s a part-time competition this year.

Absolute incompetence from the Commission yet again.  No team ahould ever have a bye immediately after playing West Coast as half the squad miss 2 weeks in a row..just shows how little thought they put into it.

Add the state game bye that’s one game in 4 weeks for our reserves and colts. Ridiculous.

On the injury front the problem I see is players like Simpson are Clarke that were initially listed as 2-3 and 3-4 weeks have now turned into 7-8 weeks, then we’ve got Avery 12-14 weeks and Constable 12 weeks. Our best players will lack match fitness coming back.
