Yep. I read he is very hard at it and so his strengths are contested ball winning and tackling. I’d expect to see him as an inside mid as Smokey said, or as a pressure forward keeping it locked in. I think he has played both those positions at Geelong (but i don’t watch afl so please correct me)

That was nasty and is not the only consussion he has suffered.

The club have confirmed Avery (as well as Bozo and Conglio) have re-signed for us. It’s great they do this so we all know what’s going on 👍🏽

Makes the signing of Schlensog even more significant.

Our new inside mids will take pressure off Corey Byrne and Regan Clarke as they wiil be the outside runners and  be able to compliment  the work of Constable, Thompson and Simpson. Their run and delivery from the outside will provide more opportunities for the forward targets. Without the pressure of  being insiders their run and carry will be enormous as they are both good ball users when not under pressure.
Good news on Jack Avery. There had been talk that he was keen move east. He is not the player we could afford to lose so looking forward to seeing how our backline lines up.
 

Burner and Regan need to improve their kicking. Both had a shocker this year on that score.

DD, my point was that they both rotated as inside players for most of last season. They were under so much pressure and that had a bad affect on their disposals. It is fair to say they were both knocked about a bit. They are far better served as outside runners and their use of the ball will improve. They are better ball users than they showed last year IMO.
 

We have an influx of A graders.
I am expecting a lot of our players to go to another level.
