I agree Dazzler I thought Hug was pretty good on Saturday.

That was more like what we were expecting from the kid.

Anybody for Ransted!!

Hunt may be unlucky, I didn't think he looked out of place, I think he has a future.

Has a go.

Have to agree with Ransted. I was a fan of his in his early career when he was kicking goals but geez I hate seeing him in the back line.

Out of all those blokes that missed how many changes do we look like making this week? Surely Jacobs, Stack, Busher come straight in?

I actually thought Fraser McInnes played a lot better even in the ruck.

Does anybody agree or am I dreaming?

He did but you must take into account who he was up against,we will not get away with a makeshift number 2 against the top teams.

DF and Dazzler, I am not at all saying Hug was not good, (though his first game wasn't), I actually was at the game - but was in Perth's back line Pocket for three of the four quarters as I followed the sun around initially. Also saw the game on TV.

My point is that 25 to 28 year olds win clubs premerships and Jacobs, Stack, Donovan are in this age range.

Boyle hasn't put a foot wrong this year so it would be unfair for him not to come back in unless his injury is one that keeps him out for longer than two weeks.

Now White,O'Sullivan, Bateman and Ali Smith and Hodge cant be left out.

There would have to be something like maybe dropping Florio and playing Hug on the wing for him to hold his spot.

No Hard feelings.

On the Ransted question I think it is time for Houghton - I haven't thought much of Johnson in the 3 or 4 games he has played.

McInnes good on the weekend - Leyendeckers to play depending on the height of other teams.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Good win by the boys despite having so many players out.

Hope the selectors pick Mather more often, always seems to find the ball. Out of the other new players, thought Deaves was ok, good size player and versatile...Hunt found plenty of it, but disposal was a bit shaky, Hug alright as well.

Notice Joel Leeson had 33 touches in the ressies and 3 goals, wonder how far away he is from the league side?

Dont think Lyenndekkers has done much in the ressies to deserve a call up.

David Johnson has been unipmressive in the little have seen of him, Perhaps Houghton to come in for Ransted.

Anyone have an opinion on Michael Edwards, looks a good size player, any ideas why he cant get a league game, also any chance of seeing Brad Fry getting promoted to league.thoughts?

Also when Busher comes back hope he is put on the forward line...think he is a bit wasted down back.

Must win game....makes you wonder doesnt it!

WTF is going on? Stack and Jacobs playing dags. We lose a couple of games and the arse falls out of the joint again. We will get f*^king pumped today and struggle to win another game this season

Haha my prediction of the result is why I don't post much!!

Haha Sacko, Good win, but more importantly remember why your a shit load better side than past years, and thats because your coach (who gets bagged to the shit house) had got rid of the shit. Stack and the other boys simply didn't follow the club line and is rightly playing where he deserves to until the club sees fit.

I attended the 2003 premiership reunion presidents luncheon today and Darren Harris spoke, the 1st thing that he said the team/club implemented was a "no dick heads" policy, thats what McMahon has effectively done, it has taken 30+ years for someone to show some balls at Perth !

Bit rough calling players you know nothing about and their circumstances for leaving Shite. So you seem to place it all at the feet of the player. The coach could not tell the difference between you know what, so ease up on the bull.

McMahon has done the same as Harris you reckon. How come it has taken this long for the penny to drop MR Leedy know it all. No
policy implemented at the garlics hey Leedy and McMahon has done the same. How many has he miss whispers, DF ,baseline and TFAF there surely must be some.

what a pathetic comment......really how long has Jones been at Peel now?.....no matter the circumstances you really have to get rid of that chip on your shoulder Baseline, it must be awwwwwfully heavy....

interesting the oz footy powers to be.... saw fit to delete some comments, yet they kept that one in.....next time I'll get the oz footy mods to explain to my 5 yr old nephew what Baseline meant about Brendan Jones.....if your gonna play the big men and delete posts, ban posters, than at least be consistent and be fair across the board.....

I know we have to give the Perth boys a few allowances for getting all giddy with experiencing some success......but don't forget this is a site for all readers not just for those fella's unwilling to let go of a grudge.....how many years ago did Jones leave again?.....Baseline EMBRACE what you preach mate.....and Oz Footy step up to the mark and be consistent with your moderation......

Great post freezin :woohoo:
