The design plan was up on a website called Prezi briefly at the start of the year but has now been removed as it has from the VP Council website. It showed, as others have said, two ovals (the second where the current carpark is), the tennis courts being retained and a new administration building being built starting from where the current western entrance, canteen and merchandise shop is and extending north. There was to be housing built around the periphery of the current footprint, particularly at the northern end around the current tennis courts.

Look it is a great concept and I'm all for it provided the PFC retains its identity and access to the facilities.

If on the other hand this is phase two of the alignment by stealth then I'm out of here.

i see nothing but upside to it. this will be fantastic for the demons. the area around lathlain is massive and will be utilized effectively for the eagles. Perth will pretty much stay where they are but with new or revamped facilities. it is great to see such investment in lathlain,claremont and joondalup.

By 2017 all AFL teams will become clubs and have a reserve team travel with them. Squads will increase from 44 to 60 and therefore there will be no need for any more alighnments alignment.

That is now my hope anyway. Because I do suspect that the Eagles have their eyes on the Demons. Only a suspicion.

It will be great to have flash new facilities.

Please correct me if i am wrong but isnt the alignment deal for 5 years? Either2013 - 2017 or from full alignment 2014 - 2018? So WCE, PERTH DEMONS and WCEP will all share Lathlain in 2017 - 2018???? Sorry....threes a crowd. Only hope it is WCEP left without a dance partner!!!

just goes to show "you can get something for nothing"......PFC have done nothing for the WAFL since 78.....added or offered nothing..... done diddly squat.....yet here they are seeking a freebie ride on the coat tails of a sugar daddy in search of glory and a substanial, payday because they are too inept to work for it themselves.....

....just as big a cop out as EP joining WCE at the hip.......I guess after 35 years though you can't blame PFC for looking at any way of securing some success.....be quite surprised if anyone at PFC could even spell the word these days!

Don't worry fish guts the only romantic advances we get are from the tuck shop ladies at slime street! Missus still work there does she?

I know Luce.....I am jealous, jealous of everything the PFC has done for the WAFL since 78.....hey I reckon it's a great bit of business by the PFC.....though no different to what EP have done.....only you guys have been more subtle and clever and done it in an 'off the field' whoring sort of way....
