Perth Eagles here we come!!

So we have the Eagles completely and uterly rape, pillage and prostitute the East Perth Football Club and then they move onto their next victim the Perth Football Club.

So when the WCE change to Perth Eagles will they expunge all their historical ties to Fremantle?

Apparently it is important that the Demons continue at Lathlain, which has been their home since 1959. Going by that sentence I can't see Perth merging. But then, big business will do whatever it wants and won't give a tinkers toss what toes get trodden on. An article on the page www.westcoasteagles.com.au/news/2013-09-...-poised-for-new-home

Well the know it alls are out in force aren't they.

There are some idiots in this world and they have all come on here.

The cornerstone to the whole plan is for the Demons to have redeveloped premises and all the hard work put in by Vince and his team has paid off handsomely. The Town of Victoria Park have been very eager/co-operative to ensure the future of the DEES was secure.

Ensures a lease of life for the area and local businesses.

Ground will be re-aligned apparently we will get new premises towards the northern end. I guess the reality is for EP to move in with Eagles, which is not as stupid as it sounds as my understanding is that there are to be two new grounds laid.

EP's premises at Medibank are ordinary.

?? future of the centre of excellence, Subi could do worse than look at the Claremont re-development. Wouldn't be as stupid as it sounds.

AS long as the ferals stay out of our members area I don't care.

Huge investment by the Eagles.

Great news for PFC, future secure at Lathlain.

I too am a bit puzzled how this has been given such negative feedback! Lathlain redevelopment. Keep your traditional home. No alignment. Good media coverage for the club and sponsors.

Agree Lucifer.. Good for Perth and a lot of money comming in.
Perth and WP have huge developments happening and great for both clubs.
Claremont are doing same with a development and must be good for them.

WAFL clubs must move on and that is what is happening.
Nothing to do with the ALIGNMENT :( exactly the opposite as these 3 clubs are in the G7. So what is the problem? As WAFL G7 Clubs we are being progressive and that is what we have to do.
Our committee's are being transparent and doing what they are meant to be doing and that is looking after the financial affairs of the Club and doing what is best for the Clubs. The rest are being left behind..

Still worried about he parking though :( Sure that will be in the plan somewhere?

I am very happy with this. Would love to see some plans but one step at a time I suppose. Why will the ground change directions. I will admit that I will be sad to see the view from the grandstand when overlooking the scoreboard go but will be looking forward to the new facilities and infrastructure being built in the Lathlain Area.

Times are changing and you need to be moving forward or you'll get left behind. Don't get me wrong it's important to have one eye on the past but you also have to have one on the future.

Haven't seen any plans just my understanding of what may happen having spoken to people around the Club.

I believe our new premises are to be around towards the shed at the western end.

Maybe the re-alignment is to cater for the 2 ovals.

Not clear on the press, seems to be saying the Eagles to put in 2 grounds not sure whether that means there ends up being 3 or just the 2 new ones.

A great fillip for the Club and a project that Vince and his working party has worked long and hard for.

They should be commended for their efforts.

Well done guys and now for the on-field stuff.

But Cardy what will the rest of you think when, logically, the alignment shifts from EP to the dark pink legs.

Not been said but logic would suggest that the development and alignment expiring are very close together.
