A huge challenge this week for Kane Johnston against Keitel.

Peletier was a better than average reserves player but never quite good enough for league. But his departure tests our depth, and I hope we are looking at some possible additions before the deadline. Since the start of the season we have lost Manzone, Paton, Ewing, Jackson, Peletier and potentially Stack. (I wish we could get some info on where he's at - pre season Peos was saying how fit and fired up he was - not much to back that up so far). Cary and Dellamarta are out for another 4-6 weeks. We could potentially promote some colts, but a couple more league quality recruits would help offset our losses.

Certainly a big challenge for whoever picks up Keitel. No doubt Johnston will be "first cab off the rank".
I have liked his development this year but this will be a huge task. Good luck to him.
I cannot see another option. Perhaps Avery but that would be like "robbing Peter to pay Paul".
Maybe Germo might come up with a complete surprise?

Given we now have Q and Hunter forward, I don't know that Sinclair is needed in the forward line any more. It may be worth having Sinclair or Avery playing as a spare in defence to cut off supply rather than let Keitel go one on one with Johnston.

Highlight of the day for Dee supporters. Unfortunately couldn't match WP in the first half. Well played Michael Sinclair and Mathew Taylor. Loyal and reliable week in week out.

Oh and thank you to the Fremantle Dockers who I was told made the wonderful banner to recognise these two magnificent milestones.
 

Perth have the guts / determination / spirit, they lack skills. If German can keep at least a dozen players to 140 games plus and improve the skills Perth will be in the top four teams. The bloke that played on Keitel today did a bloody good job so even though it was a big loss, the Perth boys, showed a rugged style of play.

There is no way WP had 12 free kicks!!!!!!!

Perth were terrible. WP stopped playing and it showed. There is a reason they bare 2nd last and have been irrelevant for a while
