The only change in the league side is Mitch Brown in for Conor Mcpartland (Foot - 2weeks). Ajang is first emergency again. 
Bad news: Manzone is out for the fucking season with a hamstring. That's pretty much stumps for him i'd say. 


William Wolf is named at FF in the ressies. Good to see Jack Poole back after injury as well.

We seem ti have no luck with "recruits" ... not sure what that means...
 

Am I right in thinking Stack served his 2 weeks suspension before last weeks ressies bye? or does he have a week to go.
He isn't listed so hopefully the latter.

Yes, a number of our recruits seem to go down.
Our luck will change one day.
Mentioned on another thread, Charlie Thompson interviewed on Wednesday on Sports Drive on 91.3fm.
Had a listen and am very impressed with the way he spoke.

I don't think anyone seriously gives us a chance, but I just hope we can put a good showing for Sinclair's sake. It has been good to see a number of articles in The West and elsewhere acknowledging his milestone. 

Shame about Manzone, but when you recruit an injury prone 32 year old... Browne always puts in an effort, but has never been a league quality player. He may be handy if it is wet, but I'd rather see Grocott or Gray given a go, younger players with more upside. There may be a few concerns about our depth, with injuries mounting. No Stack in the reserves is a worry. No sign of Barwick or Howard either, but not on the injury list - does anyone know what is happening there? In better news, Zolner-Owens is named as an emergency in the reserves. He lined up for University the other day. Maybe he was given a permit while we had the bye? 

That will be it for Stack I would think.

Injured. Howard running laps at training Tuesday night with Manzone and Dellamarta.

Unused players playing on season permits with WAAFL clubs every week. Nothing unusual there. The difference is this season we’ve actually got surplus players instead of having to raid WAAFL clubs to put a reserves team out. Even the big Bush is playing on permit so must still be on our list.

Peletier gone. A few more likely before 30 June.

The recent departures from the club, Peletier the latest, confirms that the wheat is gradually being separated from the chaff and Germo is sorting out which players can take us forward and those who cannot. A natural process.

I can understand why Manzone was recruited and bad luck for him, I can see that he would have contributed short term.
Future recruiting, I assume, will not include spending points on end of career players or injury prone players.
Having said that, it now provides an opportunity for another youngster to show his value.
I am looking forward to a competitive effort against WP.
