Ted, I heard that Cary is injured again-a quad- and may not be back too soon. IMO Stack may need a few games in the ressies. Has not yet proved himself. Stubbs is due for a run in the ressies. Just not putting in atm. Surely we have someone else.
Yes, a big game next week for Sinclair and Taylor. They deserve a big crowd as a fitting tribute to their contributions to our club. They will be Legends of the club. 

I am encouraged by today's form of HQ.
Maybe the presence of another key forward brought him to the fore.
With both of them in the side I can see us improving and worrying better sides.
I continue to see signs of improvement.
We are definitely on a different journey.

Jack Avery was BOG by a county mile, stood out like dog balls on a big ass Doberman.

Burner, Thompson, McPartland, Sing,Johnston, Regan, Cogs, Hunter Q, Hayward all outstanding. Stubbs? What’s going on with Stubbs??? Looks to me like he’s a freeloader who’s not invested and not buying in. If I’m right I’d be shopping him around to other clubs before the June 30 deadline. Get what we want for a player another club needs. To me and others I’ve spoken to he doesn’t want to be here. We can’t have players like this at the club. He is the Elephant in the room.

Avery was excellent but for me Regan Clarke was BOG.Ip
I thought that was outstanding.
His run was first class.  

I also thought Connor Sing was outstanding.
Probably his best game for us.

I see the injury list has Cary as 6 weeks. He will need a couple in the reserves after that, which means the season will be effectively over. It's a real shame for Cary, whose career has been blighted by injury. I agree Stack will need time in the reserves, and his couple of games in the reserves so far returned some very average stats. I have real reservations about whether he will find the motivation to get in the league side. Agree Stubbs was very poor yesterday but I wouldn't drop him just him. Part of that is the lack of any alternative - who would come in to replace him? He was pretty good against EF, so he's not at the point where he needs to be dropped. 

I wouldn't be rushing to drop Stubbs.
That goal from 50 out was a great kick.
He is a dangerous forward and no longer the "focal point".
It will be great long term to have 2 tall forwards plus dangerous goal kickers like Stubbs and Cary.

Happy to get the win and was good seeing us kick a lot of goals. Hopefully it gives the boys a bit of a lift.

Having two key forwards worked well and was impressed by young Hunter.

In saying all that though we weren’t playing much opposition.

First Quartermain was the whipping boy, he plays a good game now Stubbs has taken the mantle

And yes I wouldn’t be rushing to drop Stubbs. While he hasn’t set the world on fire, his best game was against EF, we will need him if we are a chance of beating the Falcons at Lathlain.
