Good to see someone at the club following my advice. Congrats to Regan Hill and Daniel Hill on being selected for their league debut tomorrow, along with Sinclair Jnr and Liam Dellamarta. Go well boys.

As I do every week, I am praying for heavy rain so the margin might be contained to something reasonable. Good luck to the debutants, but the side we field tomorrow is simply incapable of winning at this level. Our senior list has 65 players. 17 are unavailable - 15 on the injury list, plus Chapman Jones and Quill who seem to have disappeared. That is more than a quarter of our list unavailable. We are choosing 45 players for the league and reserves team from a pool of 48. As I mentioned previously, on top of the current injury list, Mayne, McInnes, both Bushers, Z Hill, Peletier, Clark, Gibba, and Stubbs have all missed through injury this season. If a review is conducted at the end of the year, there has to be some focus on why this happening. Maybe it is just bad luck, but this has happened across 2 seasons, so we need to look into it.

Yes, bizarre, CM. Wet day so you would think a big body like Nicholas would be a must. Likewise Browne. He’s one of those perennial fringe players but should play if rain is expected. 8 changes from last week: Any margin under 7 goals would be a good result.?

Bizarre indeed. And Giblett? And Ajang? I thought he’s been competitive most games. Good luck to the new guys.

Yeah! Look to next year possibilities.  I'm a bit tired of waiting, as the Kinks song goes..  beginnnig to regret I was in Europe in 1977 and missed the last one.....Would like to think I'd see another.... but I'm losing hope.

Hoping what others tell me is correct, Perth are favoured to win today. Apparently Perth paying a dollar 30 for the win which is the lowest odds they've had thus far for the season, so people tell me.

Not if these umpires have anything to do with it. These young umpires are clearly intimidated by the AFL players and are out to impress them. Peel players are constantly throwing the ball. Good tackles by Perth go unrewarded. Thirty seconds later a Peel player touches a Perth player with half a finger nail and gets a free kick for holding the ball. Perth players have been crucified by bad decisions all game but especially in that third quarter.

24 min mark final quarter. Blusher gathers the ball deep in defence. Runs into a Perl player. No tackle laid but Busher pinged for holding the ball. Peel player kicks a goal. I am always reluctant to criticise umpires but these ludicrous decisions have been made all afternoon almost exclusively in Peel’s favour. Or am I just having a bad day?

The umpires do not have any respect for Perth. Yes, they are intimidated by AFL players.
Perth try hard but just do not have the skill level nor the physicality and pace to match other sides.
