I'm surprised at the changes for this week. Jones and Hill out, fine. But Nicholas and Ajang? Both named in reserves, so dropped, no covid or injury. Is it discipline? Maybe we felt we were top heavy last week - we were certainly out run, but that seemed to me to be work rate, not that we were too tall. In come Giblett, Stubbs, Coniglio and More. Pina is out for SD. I can't say I'm confident.

I thought Ajang and Nicholas were two of our best last week. Ajang especially took it right up to arguably the best ruckman in the comp. And no Bennell? Hmmm.

You should be confident Ted, as well as Pina we have lost Aiden Clarke who was our best midfielder last week, Ryan Kemp our Victorian recruit, Tarir Bayok and Warwick Wilson presumably all under COVID protocols, who knows there may be more tomorrow. COVID does seem to have taken hold at the club.  We get back the guys who missed last week but it would be very difficult to get a team dynamic going with this COVID merry go round every week. We just haven't got the depth of other teams who have been in similar or worse  situations so Swans are really there for the taking tomorrow

Ajang out - disciplinary reasons I believe. Missed a recovery session. Not sure why Nicko was dropped.
Word is there maybe a change or two due to covid.
I am surprised Bennell not named.  Listed as an emergency. Was very good in the ressies last week and pinch hit in the ruck. He can play tall and has very long arms. It would be no surprise to see him suit up for league team to support Two Dads in the ruck and cause a few problems up forward.
Good to see Coniglio listed to play in the centre. He will add some physicality and support for Clarke and Byrner. He should have played last week. We should also use Fisher there as well at times.
After last week I am not overly confident that we can turn things around tomorrow.

Must be part of the new zero tolerance driving high standards. What a pity we didn’t see that last Sunday. What a pity the club hierarchy don’t set the same high standards for themselves like for instance coming out with a match report from the coach win lose or draw. What is expected of Bennell? Can’t see him hanging around much longer if they make him play reserves. We only managed to kick six goals last week in perfect conditions our home deck. Totally unacceptable.

Another good result for the Colts. Close fought game against last year's premiers and some encouraging signs for the future.
Several promising talls coming through who hopefully will develop and have a further growth spurt.
A very good team effort and a pleasant change to our dismal season last year. Keep it up lads.

Half-time in ressies...we lead 8 goals 3 points to 4 goals straight. We have had 27 inside 50 Swans 13
Bennell playing ressies only one touch for the half.

Motivational speech. “Come on, fellas. Be nice. Swans haven’t won a game yet. Just take it easy in this last quarter, ok?”

Take it easy ???? In the last quarter we gave Swans the game with ill-disciplined free kicks. Swans raised the pressure and we panicked. The result could have been different if we had not given away a goal by paddling the ball through for a point from 20 metres out...and the missed goal close to the end from dead in front.
Overall, IMHO, the final score flattered us somewhat.
On the positive side top marks to Byrner with 34 disposals despite some close checking by Swans. Also to Two Dads who had 33 hitouts and 20 disposals. Arguably his best game yet.
