I'm enthused by the sudden influx of talls.
Not all of them are going to develop but at least we have a few to try to work on.
Good news about having a ruck coach.
Hope he stays longer than 5 minutes and is committed to the job.
We need AJ and DBW to cover more ground to provide options and to take more marks as well as being more physical at bounce downs.

Missing today were: Sinclair, Byrne, Smith, McPartland, Nicholas, Giblett, Avery, McIness, Bennell.
The selectors will have a hard time this coming week deciding on the 22 for our first game next weekend.
My BOG today was Regan Clarke. Played in the centre and I lost count of the number of clearances he had there and at stoppages around the ground. He is a huge talent for such a small player and has beautiful skills and pace. His kicking today was top class. 
AJ was not very impressive in the first quarter. I don't know what was said to him at quarter time because for the rest of the game he contested furiously at the ballups and ran hard through the ground into space and showed that he can be a force. Kicked 2 goals. Good effort AJ.
And DBW also did a great job on the ball working in tandem with AJ and also kicked a couple of goals. Looks like they will work well together. I like a two ruckmen setup alternating resting in the forward line.
IMO a very good win and only a scratchie but I am encouraged by the fitness of the players and the total endeavour shown by everyone.
Let's hope that this won't be a once only display and that they can re-produce and build on today's effort in the real games ahead.
Nyika John did a great run with job on Scloithe and took him out of the game for most of the game. Bush took some very good marks but did miss some gettable goals. I liked Jye Clark's game he provided some good drive through the midfield.

With the points available after Dalton Langlands has been taken off the list hopefully the club is trying to find a replacement. Hopefully they are still in touch with Will Bravo, heard he was added to Richmond as a top up player. He did sign a contract with us.

Great article in the West today on Mayne confirming he will play for us this season. His input will be invaluable off the the field but it’s a great bonus to have him on it as well

In less great news, Jaiden Hunter has a season ending knee injury 

Very sad for Hunter. He is our best young key position prospect and was touted as a draft chance in 2020. Since then, he's missed effectively two years of footy through injury. 

Stubbs out for 4 weeks with a hamstring. Peletier out for 6-8 weeks with a broken arm.
