Agree Satan. At 19 and 199/88 he is worth a look at. Let's see what he has got.

Blake Johnson was good I forgot about him. Would still be mid 20's. Would be good to see him come back and give it another crack.
Yes hes only 23 and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he gave it another crack at another club.
Why would he go to another club? He left of his own accord didn't he due to frustrations with injury? Plenty of opportunities for players who can take a mark and kick a goal in the Perth forward line.H

He left for work reasons didn't he? He also ended up playing down south last year. I guess if he has gone to another club, maybe there is some disgruntlement there.  And to be honest from what I've seen - I don't blame him. But then again that's only an opinion from an outsider.

It’s also interesting to see that Gordon Narrier has landed on EP’s list

Are we getting transfer fees for players like ET, Joe Ugle and Narrier? If we can offload undisciplined and unreliable players for money, keep it coming.

Good to read on the website that Busher is training well. I really want to see him play as a permanent forward. McInnes at FF, Busher CHF, J Busher or Steel as 3rd tall, Stubbs, Cary, Quill, Hug, Langlands or Browne as the smalls. We have enough tall backs - Gibba, Sinkers, Nicholas, Hill, Hunter, Avery - not to have to send Busher into defence.

Ted, I don't think that Narrier and Ugle would command any transfer fee. Why would EP want them? They have been off our list for some time now and are unrequired players. As for ET, he was traded to EP as part of the Ajang deal, as I understand it.
I think that our defence is solid. Add Taylor, Davis, Nicholas and Coniglio and the group looks good. The bonus will be a fit Sinkers and Taylor, and a developing Hunter.
Still a query over Bennell. If he gets through the pre season and shows he is committed and focussed he will give our forward line a boost. And he plays tall or small and has those long arms to hit those tackles.

You may be right, Smokey, though I thought Ugle went to EP after the 2020 season straight from our list. Narrier had one year off our list. I don't know whether that means a transfer is no longer payable. And would he be a 10 point player for EP? Does being off a list for one year re-set your points? Seems a little too easy if so, but I confess, all these rules confuse me.

Obviously we need a good run with injury this year given our recruiting has been average at best. We've done forwards and backs. Mids and wing: Byrne, Fisher, Smith, Clarke, Grey, McPartland, Clark, Ainsworth, Gray. Maybe Quill, Cary, Hug, Browne, Langlands. Light on for depth, I think, so we really need McPartland and Gray to step up to be consistent league players.

Ted, barring a rush of long term injuries like last season, (heaven forbid) I am comfortable with our midfield. The return of Regan Clarke adds pace and class, Smith (if he can stay fit for more than half a game), Grey and Byrne, Ainsworth, Langlands, McPartland at the stoppages, all add to the mix of inside and outside midfielders. Hopefully the new boy Will Bravo from Dandenong will add something to the list.
I will be looking for a step-up from Jye Clark. IMHO, he can play, he is fearless and goes hard. Just needs to be a little more disciplined and not give away silly free kicks.
Browne is best of the rest and is versatile and play different roles where required. Hug, Quill, Gray are handy back-ups.
