Perhaps some are a little harsh on Aussie Davis. Sure he turns the ball over occasionally but he is not our normal kick-in guy.
What we have been sadly missing is our resident kick-in player and probably the best kick at the club in Matt Taylor.
Davis gets a lot of the ball. He goes and gets it unlike some of his team mates.
If you analyse his stats the ratio of turnovers to possessions is relatively small.

Gee, only a year ago you guys were flying and expectation pre-season was that you were challenging for a flag. You copped a bad run with injuries so I wouldn’t be too doom and gloom. Before they took its toll you were 4-3 and in the 5. Then you’re chasing your tail after that. Your Reserves made finals which is positive. Let’s see what the list looks like when they’re all fit. Add a couple more recruits and it’s a different ball game.

You blokes jump off pretty quick!!

Love your work KFC

Smokey why wouldn’t Moss or the back line coach instruct Avery to take the kick ins?
Beautiful long kick of the ball and can hit a target.
We’ll agree to disagree on Austin no question he gets plenty of the ball but it’s what he does with it that’s the problem he turns it over more than occasionally.
For a league player his disposal by foot is below par,Imo.

Mmmmm, today's worst says one player offered a finale game and rejected it to qualify for reserves finals. Another doesn't play twos so not to take a regular fellas spot come finals....... Doesn't sound like a zone issue to me. Hey but just an outsiders observation...
What's it got to do with you mate. One player said no to a farewell league game because if he played one more resizes game he qualified for Reserves Finals. The other guy has already qualified for Reserves Finals so he understandably took the farewell league game knowing he will still be there guiding the young fellows coming up through the ranks in the resizes next week. Don't talk about things you don't understand.
Cheer up mate - I hear your reserves side are having an outstanding season. On the subject of hearing, anyone heard from STT of late?

The GM has written a comprehensive document spelling out our deficiencies to the WAFC why we start every season so far behind the eight ball. If those people can’t read then I’m happy to volunteer my time to read it out aloud and slowly for them so they can understand. Rest assured the club is not sitting on its hands on this matter.
Will this document be made available for members. Or will the club communicate to the members about what they believe our deficiencies are.

Moss was pretty fired up at 3 qtr time addressing the players before they split into their line groups, maybe they should all be addressed together so they know what everyone else is doing because it's pretty obvious they have no idea.

Pretty good effort in the first half but predictably fell away in the last two quarters. Our skill level was so far below that of WP leaving us behind the eight ball to start and this was further compounded further by the 27-14 free kick count, with many of the 27 in the WP forward line.

As others have mentioned the kick ins need to be worked on, was terrible to watch. Bring back John Quartermaine!

Against Peel we coughed up 11 or 12 consecutive goals in two quarters. Against WP we conceded 11 goals in a row from just before half time until early in the last quarter. It's all well and good doing your nut at the players, but does Moss have a plan for when a game starts to get away from us? I'm no coach, but don't you normally slow the game down, put a spare player back, things like that? Surely Moss doesn't think we have the cattle to go head to head with a team like WP?

10 Perth players on Sat had less than 10 possessions , WP had 3 and they had 9, 9 and 8.

Ted every time the ball went into the WP forward line it was inevitable they were going to score. Our back 6 battled hard but very inexperience and outsized. La Fontaine is a decent size but looked slow on occasions. A number of times our defenders elected to go the spoil when they were well positioned to take a grab, no doubt a confidence issue but just added to the pressure.

John didn't have a great game but looks like he can kick the ball, could have let him take the kick ins

I doubt it mate but I’m sure Russell will be happy to elaborate on it at the AGM and answer any questions there. We came away from our conversation satisfied we have the right man in charge to tackle this problem head on. He was previously our footy manager when he retired from playing and said we are talking about the same problems that were pointed out to the commission 28 years ago, and nothing has changed.
