It will depend on who they take to Melbourne. If Vardy doesn’t go then he will play.
 

I'm surprised Langlands is straight back in the league team. With the reserves having a bye, it seems like a good time to give him another couple of weeks rest. I assume the positions named can't be right - Langlands full back, Jones and Sinclair in the middle? Sinkers is ok in that role, but with Hill and Sing missing (more injuries?? - does anyone know?) we need him in the backline. I'd have Langlands and Jones forward, McPartland in the middle. From the extended bench, surely Taylor, Quill, Gray and Davis should play. With all the injuries, this is a very ordinary team. 

WCE look weak on paper but they always drop 2-3 back from their extended bench. They still seem stronger than us. Their top tier players - Brander, Witherden, Brayshaw, Nelson, will have a day out. If players like Hutchings are made available, that will make it even worse. The % difference is such that it would take a big loss to push us to the bottom, but I fear it's just a matter of time. 

The injury list suggests that only a handful of players may come back before season's end. Hitchcock, Yeo, McCarthy and Richardson may be back for the reserves finals (if we hang on to a place in the 5). McInnes and Grey may be back for the last couple. However, with nothing left to play for, it may be better to leave them until next season. On the other hand, if they did come back in, that would push another couple of players down to the reserves to make them stronger. It's sad that I am concerned with our reserves, but they are the only chance we have of some consolation in what has been a bitterly disappointing season. 

Good to see young Brogan-Henry making his debut tomorrow. Talented young fella.

I saw a bloke take a mark inside 50 in the reserves last week, game on the line, goes back and struggled to kick it 40m and not even close to goals. He has been promoted this week. Where is the talent coming through that pushes blokes like this out? I’d have Chris Martin over him any day of the week.

In all fairness I think Moss may be having a look at a few blokes to see what their future is at League level.
If I was Moss that is what I would be doing.
Having said that our reserves are having a good year.
 

Well it’s clear which club must provide the witches hats for the WCE when they train. Every so often a ball accidentally bounces off one and trickles through the other goals, but by and large they serve their purpose 

Stack the Ressies and at least give us something to follow in September.
