Gibba would be my first picked every week. Gives it his all and he is a ripper. No idea what commentators would have been talking about. As stated, played on Hamp and most of his possessions were right up the ground in midfield. Gibba is a ripper.

Cool.
Mitso and Micale were both critical of him.
He can't run, that's what they said.
They seem to not see a lot past SF, S, Cl & WP.
Particularly when we play them.
All the so called stars do no wrong.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

Claremont a pretty good scalp for the Demons. Couldn't get over the bogey side West Perth last week.Should play finals in 2020 from this point..Already 2 games and 15% clear of Subi the next position on the ladder. The EP v Subi result was huge for you guys.

Not sure he dominated the ruck tho.
Goddard had 38 hos to 21.
And 2 dads had 4 disposals vs 2 to Goddard.

Steady on. He was up against two really quality ruckman in Goddard and Eastland. Yes low stats but his contested ariel work was good. Took one mark. Kicked a goal from it. Eastland got his hands to heaps of marks inside 50. Dropped everyone of them. DBW the same, gets his hands to plenty. It’ll come.

Really quality ruckmen in Goddard and Eastland? Goddard is a monster but doesn’t have much else after that. As for Eastland, looks like Tarzan plays worse than Jane. It’s a mystery to Claremont supporters why he gets picked week after week after week.
Does Sinclair always play this well or is it only against us? The bloke is impassable.

Fair enough. Send Eastland over to Lathlain then. I'd take him anyday.

That's Michael Sinclair every week. The guy is an absolute gun. Just don't count on him kicking a goal from five metres out.

It’s a simple equation next Saturday. We win and we play finals for the first time in 23 years, and deny Subiaco a finals position. They will be dead and buried for the season.
Or, we lose and everything is still up for grabs.

Not to be pedantic, Cess, but there would be a tiny chance of missing finals even if we beat S. If we went on to lose the two games after that, and EP win all of their remaining three, and make up 25%, we could still miss out. But, given that one of our last two games is against SD, and EP play SF away, a win against S would make it 99% sure that we make finals.

A loss against S would leave us somewhat vulnerable. Even then, a win against SD should be enough to get us home. The equation is this: we win 2/3, we are home. Win 1/3, EP or S would have to win all three and make up a reasonable % gap. If the unthinkable happened and we lost all 3, S or EP would have to win at least 2/3 plus %.

After losing the last 4 games of 2018 to drop out of finals, and losing to a third rate Peel in the last round of 2019 to miss out, surely we have the talent and resolve this year not to blow it again.

Totally agree, for mine Gibba was one of our best players last year. He has done it tough this year so far but lets face it until yesterday the whole defence has struggled. Gibba plays on the best defender every week, even the smaller ones. He shut ballentyne up in round 1. First position chosen ever yweek would be FB - Gibba.

Whoever decided to put the Sherriff in at the centre bounces, take a bow.
I think we may have created a niche for him. His presence seemed to open things up for Brady Grey to get so many clearances.
Changed with Marlin to good effect.
