Good win by the boys.
Was not confident at 1/4 time.
But the boys obviously played well after that.
Starting with a good 2nd quarter.

Well it’s time Perth, your time is in the next 7 days to make a difference, not only for your own club after 23 years but for this league

Time to end the false pretenders rein, time to have a top 4 not seen in a long time

Like all WAFL supporters, hand in heart, over to you..

Appreciate that SFTF. Great day for the Perth football club and a great game of football in fantastic conditions. Brady Grey take a bow, BOG. Dakota Baldwin-Wright (affectionately known as 2dads). Held your own against state ruckman Goddard, won your own footy, took a contested mark 40 metres out near the boundary, went back and nailed it. Make that spot your own.

Nathan O’Driscoll rough day for him on debut but showed his class with a clutch goal to seal the deal. Great stuff. Sinclair down back was really important to steady the ship down there. Stubbs and Marshall in the centre bounce were inspired moves. Well done Earl.

Well played Lennon Marlin did some nice things and kicked a couple of snags. Keep him in there please. Good sides don’t rest on their laurels. Need to bring it again next week against Subi who’s pride is being tested this season. If we take them for granted we’ll be brought back down to earth with a thud.
Get on your bike.

Yep, huge win. We were very poor in the first quarter, with C having a huge inside 50 advantage, but luckily we didn't suffer too badly on the scoreboard. Grey was outstanding, as was Coniglio. There were some good individual efforts: Regan Clarke's run down the wing in the 3rd quarter to set up a goal to DBW, and Payne's mark at half back in the last quarter when outnumbered were critical moments.

Well done boys. A real gutsy win.
A great goal by DBW on an acute angle a long way out. Straight through the middle never in doubt.
And Nathan O'Driscoll on debut a magic sealer late in game.
Overall a great team effort. Did exactly what Duke told them at 3rd Q break. Take your chances and embrace the risk. But I thought Brady Grey played a huge second half especially in the last Q to lead us home.

One negative note: can we make it a team rule that if a player is inside 50, he backs himself to shoot on goal? Twice McDonald tried a little dinky pass which got chopped off. Another time Grey was streaming towards goal and tried to pass into the pocket.

Agree with everyone’s comments. Grey was instrumental and the passion he brings for a bloke who has only played 5 games for the club is unbelievable. Payne’s mark was sensational, and indirectly lead to O’Driscoll goal and quite possibly saved the game. Great team effort.

Great game of footy. Like last week we played good footy for long periods of the game. Thank god for Michael Sinclair and Tubby Taylor in that first quarter when we were super sloppy and under seige. First thee Claremont goals came from fkn soft as frees. The maggots murdered us in that first quarter.

Unbelievable mark by Jacob Payne on the back flank in that last quarter and DBW goal was sweet after getting some lip from a couple of long white sox wearing local nancies from Dog Shit Park.

Well done 2 Dads on the goal.
Not sure he dominated the ruck tho.
Goddard had 38 hos to 21.
And 2 dads had 4 disposals vs 2 to Goddard.
