If Kane does want to come back and play 2nd tier footy assuming he misses a gig at AFL then the SANFL would be able to offer him the best standard comp with the best money as the SANFL have secured all the clubs financial futures with their "future fund" underpinned by the sale of the two AFL licenses and the progressive sale of the Westlakes (Footy park) land. Within the next 2 or 3 years no WAFL club even Subi will be able to compete with the SANFL for players, especially any delisted AFL players. The SANFL believe in and support their state comp whereas the WAFC are only interested in seeing it diluted down to an under age feeder for the AFL monster.

For the sake of ten thousand dollars or so he would have far better employment opportunities in WA and personally I think it is a better place to live so the money factor shouldnt be that important.

There was some stuff floating around that Kane Mitchell was pretty shattered at being cut from their system - I believe he took 12 months off to deal with the stress of putting everything he had in only to be thrown around & away with nothing to show for that effort.

3 clubs MO not hard to work out which ones.

i'd still like Larry to let us know as he must be aware of a club or clubs that have 60k cash lying around to sling to players.

not according to Larry, not only are there players getting 60k but its in cash,must be a few blokes walking into an office on Mondays to get handed an envelope.

3K and I know of 4K per match, you do the sums. I can't divulge anything else but this is from an insider. Two at one club on that about five years ago. Most play for free but the handful of top liners get looked after very nicely.
