Looks like there will have to be a new grade to accomodate all the Clubs with 2 teams .
It could look like this.

1. ECU.                  ( Down from C5 )
2. West Coast.       ( Down from C5 )
3. Manning Rippers ( E1)
4. North Beach.      ( 5s and 6s up from E1 and E4)
5. Bayswater.          (E2)
6.  Curtin Uni.         ( E2)
7. Jandakot.           (3/4s from E3 , E4)
8. Carlisle.              ( 3/4s from E3 E3)
9. North Mandurah. (E3)
10. Wembley.           C5

Would ECU be able to field a 2nd side? They didn’t play any c5 reserves games last year.

Good effort for North Mandurah, Manning and Bayswater to get 2 teams up. Any others looking to put 2 teams in from E grade?

Yanchep will bd in C6 getting 2 teams back . What about Dianella Morley  Lynwood Ferndale and Forrestfield. If they get 2 teams up that will mean no clubs with 1 team.

It would be a bit embarrassing for Dianella , Lynwood and Forrestfield if they were the only clubs left with 1 team.  It would be a big spur for the club’s Administration to get 2 teams up .

Just had a look at Forrestfields Facebook site and they are entering 4 teams next year. A massive jump from 1 senior team the last few years.  That is a great effort from the clubs committe to quadruple in size in 1 year . Well done to them,
That will leave on former high grade clubs Dianella and Lynwood as the only clubs with 1 senior mens team. I hope their committe takes note and and puts in the effort to get 2 teams up. There is still plenty of time.

Well done to Forrestfield and Yanchep on getting reserves teams up.
What’s happened with Lynwood and Dianella?
Did Rossmoyne go back to 2 teams? Always thought it was odd they went to E grade given they plenty of numbers in men’s and women’s a few years ago.

Yes Rossmoyne they should of started in C5. If any clubs Administration is that weak that they drop a team then they should start at the bottom the next year. That is why Bayswater and Yanchep have to start in C6 . They obviously had week administration last year to drop a team and have to start at the bottom. At my club we had about 20 players for 3 Mens at training the Tuesday before the first game last year and we where looking like forfeiting 1/2 teams.
But our committeee and coaches worked their arse off over the next few days to get the teams up , ringing and messaging everyone. We struggled for numbers for the first 4/5 games but finally got good numbers and our 2s and 3s made the finals. That is what good administration does.

Just looking at Lynwood’s facebook shows they at least have a colts side up and running but only 1 senior team.  Nothing on Dianella getting a reserves side so it still leaves Dianella and Lynwood as the only clubs with 1 senior team. You would think that C 6 would be doable if they where struggling for reserves as it is a very low grade.

I think you will find Lynwood colts side is very young. I know they are trying to get two senior sides up, but if you put kids up to play against men in any grade when they are not ready then the kids will walk away.

In this situation I think the committee needs to be applauded to be patient, if they rush to two sides and lose the colts and link to juniors then in 18 months time they are no better off than they are now, except that their senior players will all be older and they will struggle to get 1 side on the park.

I have heard that there are couple of very High grade clubs really struggling for numbers at the moment and may go to 1 team. Heard some are only getting 10/12 a night for training . That is typical at this time of the year as players tend to drop of late Feb early March and numbers pick up a couple of weeks out from the season.
