Not sure how Winnacot even got their nominations accepted if they only have 15 registered players for 2 teams. We were told that we needed to have 28 players registered by mid March for our 2 teams. we still wouldnt have anywhere near that and it is the usual last minute rush going on to get them regoed for Saturday. Our reserves are going to struggle to get up a team this week and it will be the usual number of ring ins and blow ins that you get to get a team for the first week but that is what reserves footy is all about.

i think ring ins will be a feature for a number of the lower C grade clubs this season, especially those is C4 and C5

It is the Tuesday night before the first game  which is the night that most reserves and thirds players start training.

Tonight is a bit early Bolter for Reserves and Thirds players to start pre season. Most will start the Thursday before the season starts.

haha yeah, now its the time when the club registrars really earn the "volunteer" pay packets!

Players realise that they may not actually get a game if the dont register with their club.

It looks like the COVID mass forfeits that everyone was expecting didn’t eventuate with only 1 team forfeiting , Kingsley E2 team, on the weekend so well done to all clubs for getting their teams up . Clubs that we heard where struggling such as Cottesloe, Winnacot , North Fremantle , Nollamara etc all fielded their teams. ALOT of hard work from clubs committes would of gone into fielding the teams so congratulations to all clubs

Alot of teams would of been right on the edge of a forfiet.  Our reserves and the team we played had 12 players each at kick off time. pretty much it would of been a double forfiet. Neither team wanted a forfiet so the game started with 12. a few League boys  jumped  in when they arrived to make it about 14/15 a side for the rest of the game. Awesome effort from both clubs to get the game up and running. Both League teams also did not have full teams , about 18/19 players each so about 30 players for 2 games for each club. Hopefully numbers pick up.
