Have heard quite a few clubs are struggling with numbers at the moment and a number of clubs may drop out of some of the C Grades and into E Grades and also a lot of clubs will be dropping their bottom teams. Some big clubs only getting 10/15 players at training. Is it to do with Covid or just this time of the year.

Not sure about quite a few clubs struggling with numbers. Probably a few I would say. I know Mt Law have big numbers at training and heard the other day they are actually listing another side as well this year.

What clubs have you heard about Bolter? It’s going to be another disrupted year with covid you’d think, players in/out, vax restrictions keeping some away perhaps?

Bolter,
not sure about a 'lot' of clubs struggling for numbers?

Re: Covid, all sports around Australia and I suggest international will have similar challenges.

It's the club's that have good structure and management that will not only survive...but take the opportunity to thrive.

This aged very well….

But sad to see 3 or 4 drop from C4 down to E grade. Will be interesting to see how the 3/4 teams go in C4

Interesting too see though that a couple clubs have an extra E grade team (Kalamunda / Jandakot) and then there's a couple stepping up with a ressies side into C5 (Winnacott / ECU).

So as much as a few have dropped out there seems to be teams that have replaced them.

Maddington and Coolbellup coming up into C5 with 2 teams is great to see.
Not sure what’s happened down at Rossmoyne falling victim
to a one team club..  there ressies played in a GF last year.
Manning have great numbers, so not sure why they want to stay a one team club.

Manning still have a number of guys at colts age and didn’t quite have the numbers for a reserves team this year. Expect them to be back to 2 senior teams by next year.

Rossmoyne didn’t have a huge drop off in numbers, but were cutting it a bit fine for numbers and didn’t want to take the chance with Covid this year either. Sounds like a bit of a cop out, as they have been competitive at a league and reserves level for a few years now.
