Not the easiest of assignements heading up to Bongo Valley even when we are travelling well, coming of 3 losses it is a worry.

Im just hoping the guys have a real dip up there, we are undermanned and lack height and presence in the forward line.

If we can put up a fight like we did v WP I will be happy, but I fear this one will get away from us.

BTW:...When was the last time we lost our first 4 matche?. It must be a very long time ago...

I think the best chance of a win will be v Subi the week after.

Bazza: we have a two game losing streak at Basso at the moment and also you beat us in a scratch match so it would seem reasonable to expect South Freo to come in as the favourites.

Also, we have a couple of injury concerns: Roach will probably miss a couple of games. Notwithstanding the above I expect us to turn up for the full four quarters and if we do then we will go a long way to winning the match.

I wouldn't be so pessimistic Bazza. The way Swans are playing at the moment I reckon your guys have every chance of a win. 50/50 I reckon

1985 they lost the first four games before thrashing Claremont by 90 points in round 5. They ended up winning 8 games that year including a score of 34 goals 18 against East Perth!!

Yeah I remember that season and those games, but it was a sign of a decline that ended in a WS in 87.

For OOS: are you still in Melbourne? I see the ABC game is SD vs SF so you will get a chance to see the replay in the wee small hours some time next week?

Hopefully you will get to watch a swans' victory!!!!!

A win is around the corner for us, hopefully this week v the ducks.

McCarrey in, Miller out.

Has our form been that bad really??

We have played CL, PTH and WP who between them haven't lost a game yet so we haven't really played the weaker teams.

We know about the injuries and the youngsters but I reckon we have the cattle to win a few now and get better from now on.

SF by 13 points =)

Go doggies!!!

Miller will be a loss to you guys, although we have lost Roach and Newman. Mccarrey V Ames will be a good clash. From memory the two games at Bassendean last year were really competitive and not decided till the final quarter, so no reason why this one won't be the same. It will come back to who wants it more.
