Well first up while I congratulate the Cardies on winning last Friday night , South looked bloody dangerous & quick and never gave in at any stage ... it came down to basic errors that gave away too many goals ,,, that and not manning up enough
But almost grabbed a win regardless - very very high class game I thought overall!

So versus SD - this week we will certainly miss Number 9 - Millsy is an out & out champion of WAFL modern footy however a couple of handy players like McCarrey , Borovac , Collica , Andreoli to come in this week.
I see Banner is named but there is no guarantee after the kick to the leg he got last week (on crutches after game)
South can win - the heart they showed with a badly undermanned side last week against WP made me extremely proud & vocal that night.

Cheers!

Just too many basic skill errors at the moment - killing their chances despite the effort shown sadly
Goes with such a young side I suppose

Yes well they had a go , but just up to it, this season looms as very nasty, I think it's fair to say if we don't beat subi next week we are headed for the spoon, this is the first time since 1985 we have lost the opening 4 games...

I think there is something to work with there Bazza, some of those young guys had a real go but they didn't really get value for effort. Too many mistakes and turnovers. That happens when you lack experience

Yeah there is a bit there but a couple of years oof yet, no ruck , lack of forward height all issues...

Chance v subi at home I hope.

Crowd pretty skinny up there today, never seen the basso outter so empty even the bar, macca stand empty as well , I reckon about 1500 there.

2200 according to the west. Still was disappointing though with no AFL game in Perth

Bazza, There is a lot to like about Souths, you blokes won't finish last if you maintain and lift a little on your current form. As mentioned, a lot will ride on the game v Subi, I think Haselby has your blokes on the right path, a bit of pain to get the gain I reckon !

Good win by Swannies, SF trying hard but lack talent and experience. Ducks are going to trouble a few more sides this year

Encouraging while at the same time frustrating ..... some hurried umthinking kicks and then some classy swift movement ... it's a totally revamped game plan with little semblance to recent years.

Finishing last isn't worrying - the injury list & lack of depth is.

Proud of the sheer grunt this group has shown so far this season - bloody proud actually to be honest!!!!

2 or 3 class players need to be brought in to spread the workload.
