interesting to see so many Perth fans coming on here and replying.....you guys won and not sure why you are bothering answering to any of these 'sore loser' claims from the SF boys....

the SF boys are just fustrated pure and simple, can see why though, especially since Perth had over 100 more possessions, lots more free kicks etc. Obviously this indicates that Perth were first to the footy, yet strange that Perth could only beat a mediocre SF side by 2 goals, who were missing their and the comps leading goalkicker from last year.....Saunders is definitely worth 3 - 4 goals, especially against a mediocre backline.....not too sure which side comes out of that game the winner TBH.

Yeah Perth won the four points, but seems like though SF did bloody well to keep the game to 2 goals in trying circumstances.....

There is only one thing disappointing about the umpiring.

The umpires are disappointed that Billings isn't there to victimise.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Freeze it is quite funny how Perth supporters after all their success over the past 35 years and backstabbing of each other over the past 20 years on various online forums come on here and say SF supporters are sore losers?? That we (me) are only blaming the umpires?? Perth supporters on here need to make sure that you quiet down a little and don't have a go at anyone until you have done something. SURELY 35 years of NOTHING would be a healthy reminder?

I blamed Reece Adams, Jarred Winter our lack of structure and gave Perth credit for the win but that hasn't been highlighted of course.

My initial question was to find a Perth supporter who thought the umpiring was fair and just. Still haven't found one who has put their name up as yet. Wonder why??

Perth had more of the ball because they chipped it around and went handball crazy in the first quarter which is why they looked terrible. Stats can be misleading.

Yes Freeze Gulley was very good on McInnes but the other 2 in Bevan and Reimers got us big time.

A few changes to happen I think this week. Shgerza, Verrier, Lowrie may force their way in. Adam Carter and Andreoli need to find some form before getting a spot IMO.

Gumby got reported and Doughty was injured early in the 3rd quarter so I dare say he will be missing this week. Gumby should be ok though from what I saw. Was hardly a free kick but that was the sort day we were having.

can't blame the Perth boys for getting all in a tizz about their 2/0 start....sheet I'm still coming down from cloud 9 after EF making the GF last year!! Like I said just think it's odd Perth didn't do more damage on the scroeboard.....considering their dominance on the stats sheet and the umpire sheet.

Doggie, good to see our boy Benny Sokol kick a few in the colts, should be a good contest between your youngsters , Subi's and hopefully EF colts....Bensti seems quite excited about these Subi boys, so far his predictions look spot on.

Who was marking Reimers and Bevan?.....no doubt Kyle was kicking them from the Freo prison post high?

DF I heard Billings got reported again on Sat, one of the umps took his number, even though he was wearing civvies and standing at the bar having a drink during the game ;) .....

Schloithe had Bevan. Maskos and White rotated but Perth tagged White all day so he tried to clogg up the forward line which helped Gulley beat McInnes but created more space around the flanks for Bevan and Reimers to work their magic one out.

Sokol and Matera were very good in the colts. Sokol could be a very high draft pick. Just knows where to go to get the ball with no effort.

look out for Main, Pickett and Garlett too. Some gooduns there again.

Pickett in the colts recieved the ball from a kick in about 40m out and ended up running the whole field with about 8 bounces, a handball to himself and kicked a goal from about 45m. Exceptional.

There is no big deal. First you guys were full of excuses which I thought you were bigger then now you're happy with an honourable loss. Ok then

It seems Freezin has a bit of a soft spot for South. Also there were no goals kicked from Freo prison seeing the game was at Lathlain.

dogman wrote: * That Kris Miller is our best midfielder still which is great and sad.
* That we don't have a small forward at the club who will kick 30 plus goals in the year again.
* That we still don't have a structure in our forward line.
* That if we are missing 4-6 of our regular 22 we don't have the depth to cover it at all.
* That Perth will finish 6th.
* That the umpring today was the most one sided in WAFL history. Seems to happen all the time at Lathlain . . .I suppose 21 yr old poofs in orange can't make their own decisions.
* That Schloithe has been asked to play as a backline tagger on the small forwards by the Dockers to see how he goes. He had 5 disposals today, played on Bevan who kicked 6. Enough of the experiment, let him go back to hunting the ball in the midfield like he did last yr when you drafted him.
* That Jarrod Winter is as quick as me and as fit.
* That Gumby will take mark of the year again.
* That Reece Adams could play the game without boots. 15 disposals, 14 handballs!!?
* That Hasleby said at 3/4 time that our season was on the line!!! OMG!!!
* That we need Bewick, Borovac, Collica, Saunders, Carter, Burnett and Shergza back ASAP as we have no depth.
* That security don't like you swearing at the umpires.
* That the umpires are actually f&^%wits of the highest order and after several conversations with them I now have 100% proof.
* That the easter bunny won't visit me tonight.
* That alcohol seems to cure most things.
* That a gun will solve the uncurable =)
