Hard to believe one side was so perfectly disciplined and the other not so - yet the margin was only 13 points.

I could understand it if it were an U/13 game between two very unevenly matched sides - with one made up of almost complete novices - but in a league game with both teams having 22 players that have played the game at various levels for years and years. I find that very strange and difficult to explain away.

La Hincha it's piss easy to explain. How long have you been watching footy? The obsession on these forums with blaming umpires is unbelievable. Where does it say the count has to be the same. No umpire is biased. Chances are next week the count will be against Perth and we will now to just suck it up. That's how you explain it

Well, explain it then. How did Perth end up with so many free kicks and South Fremantle so few. I wasn't there and would like to know.

I answered it in my first post mate. There is no rule that says the count HAS to be even. Fair dinkum 150 years of footy and that still can't be worked out.

Ive seen you in action in a 2 ump system and I reckon you would do a 10 times better job than what they have running around now! Because you have a feel for the game

Mate being an ex umpire has nothing to do with my opinion. I haven't umpires in years and was at a low level. It's just the excuses that shit me

SF lost by two goals, without their and the comps leading goal kicker from last year.....Perth had two guys who scored nearly half their goals....sheet when was the last time Bevan kicked 6 goals.....more importantly it will be an eternity for him to do it again.

Doggie all SF needed was at least one experienced guys to muzzle Reimers or Bevan.....two goals is fudge all......though interested with such a high free kick count in Perth's favour, Perth could only win by 2 goals.....

SD will truly test Perth next week....their experienced defenders will test Perth's goal kicking options outside of Bevan and Reimers.....if McInness got spanked by Gulley, hate to see what Ames is gonna do to him.....

Geezus Freeze you've just done it as well. 6 blokes out. Perth had heaps of blokes out as well. Fark me can't anyone except when a side gets beat. But having said that if we don't play our best next week we could get brought back to earth very fast

Yeah pretty good summary, how does a team at home with that many extra free kicks only win by two goals?

Sour grapes from the Souths fans. Perth had the ball 100 more times than SF. This indicates to me that they were obviously more up for it and going in and winning the ball more and therefore getting the benefit of free kicks. In the game at Bassendean, Claremont were playing in front, more desperate than Swans and more often than not on the bottom of a pack so they got more frees than Swans, no quibbles from me about this. I saw a lot more bad decisions made by Swans players yesterday when disposing of the ball than howlers from umpires. Mistakes happen in a game but everyone just needs to get over it, learn and move on.

Meh after the 1st quarter we controlled the game, you kicked a few late goals in the last when we were 5 goals up i thought it was going to be dejavu for a while but we were able to steady.

Not getting carried away though pretty ordinary side you had out there, so dont really know where Perth sits in the scheme of things.

Geezus you blokes have been absolutely pathetic sore losers. If your players have the supporters attitudes you won't win 1 game. Good luck to ya's
