This will be the pivotal game of the finals series IMO. The winner can have a real crack at Subiaco. The loser, as you said faces a real challenge against an near AFL combination.

Hard to believe this is the first finals clash between theese great two clubs since 1999.

Interesting to note these two teams have played each other twice this season and have one win a piece. This is going to be a great match that will be conducted in fine weather conditions. Saturday looks like being sunny with an expected max of 19 degrees.

If this match was a West Perth Home game, I'd back them with confidence. Over the course of the season, they haven't performed well enough on the road. Souths are averaging 13.6 Disposals / Scoring shot at Home, whilst West Perth are currently doing 17. A 3.4 Disposals difference may not sound a lot but over the time of a match will be significant.

Looking forward to this game, I think the teams match up well both have terrific midfields but Souths possibly have the edge with their forwards.

Both really hard running teams and with a fine day at last we should see some hard fast open footy by two highly skilled teams.

Souths only because of the home ground advantage by 10 points.
