Good to see the fans turned up fior the Freo derby ...congrats  to SF on the win....

As predicted, excellent game and crowd. Wafl looked in good health today. Obviously not a representative game but who cares. Let's hope this is the grand final or replace one team with East Perth. 

Pretty good day all round , great win and standard was good, perfect conditions, 7500 turned up along with a live broadcast.

Freo oval defo the place for all future Foundation Day Derbies, was speaking to a number of EFFC people who are very unhappy with new development there and said the facility could not cope with a crowd this big - bar area hold a max of 200.

We certainly have a very interesting season unfolding with a number of clubs in the serious finals scene,  EP now a game clear on top , both Fremantle Clubs in the mix , Swans also pressing makes for very good spectator viewing, lets hope Peel go on the slide, both western suburbs teams struggling which is something new. Although the Monts throwing up a upset win over Peel.

Week off and then is a trip to Basso, looking forward to that one should be a good game up there.

Btw does anyone know where Wayne the cheer squad bloke is?

There is a Wayne who regularly phones in on SportsFM - usually when i am driving home from work. He is a South supporter. Not sure if he is the Wayne you are referring to Bazza. But he has been asked by the Sortsfm crew why he doesn't get along to Souths games anymore. On one occasion he did give the reason that he can't be bothered anymore. Fair enough the way the WAFL is run who can blame him.

Considering Freo Oval had 6 portaloos to service where most of its outer crowd was yesterday you would have to question its suitability too.
