Come on lads fire up!

I think coming off several byes including an underwhelming state game no-one gives a fuck about, then the mid season draft, many of us have checked out.

Understandably those clubs that have lost players to the msd will be downcast, some clubs have suffered season defining injuries to key players. I counted 19 on the Royals injury list. Farrrk.

Momentum is destroyed with all these interruptions.

DD is right. Whats the point - no Jono Marsh and no Brynn Teakle. Can't see EF getting close here and just making up the numbers at present. There could be a huge gulf between the top 3 and 4th and 5th and most of the rest of the pack. 8 games in!

Looks like the match will dodge the rain.....what's Freo Oval like in regards to drainage Bazza? Can't remember Freo Oval being a quagmire after some rain. 

Should be a good contest, SF will definitely be looking to redeem themselves after their Peel loss....though many a side will lose to Peel this year. Should be a good battle between Winder and Murdock, both in stellar form and both unlucky to miss out on Wed......though lucky for their respective clubs/fans.

SF for me, as the Strom boys will be too tall and they always fire up for a Derby....handy SF won't have Schloithe, but EF losing Teakle will hurt, as I believe EF other rucks in MGuire, Blakiston and Cripps are all injured. Good chance for Branchi to feed his troops. Enjoy the game boys, hope the Derby gets a good crowd....being loving the old clips on FB of Derby yesteryear clips promoting the game.

I reckon it'll be a good game. 2 good teams. Plenty to play for. Good weather. Should be excellent.
