Bicton gone. And so is Roe 8.

Looked at some of the booths, some shocking results for the Libs in the areas impacted , Palmyra and East Fremantle.

Gee Col very bad politics to start it so late. South of the River now a sea of red.

I really hope Roe 8 goes ahead regardless, I run a small fleet of cars through the ride share app Shofer and the drivers have had/seen so many close calls with the trucks on the leach highway stretch between the freeway and Freo. What's even more concerning is these loaded 90ton trucks fly past Melville high school at 70kph within inches of the kids. I'm not sure what the best solution is but we have to get these trucks off Leach highway and the freeway and out of residential areas purely for the safety of the kids.

I put the safety of children ahead of a few selfish residents who knew the highway was going to be built and were all told this before they purchased their homes.

Gee checking some of the results in relevant seats, Roe 8 towelled the libs up..

Massive swings in Willage to Tinley who campaigned strongly against in Willage, massive swings to Mcguirk in Freo who did the same and ofcourse OMalley picked up the desive Electorate of Bicton which was a Roe 8 battle ground , just look as the massive banners from the two sides overlooking Stirling Bridge...then you go out to Southern River , ouch that was a smashing and Jandakot Joe Francis has a fight on his hands...and in Cockburn another belting. Hmmm me thinks Menzies House farked that call up!

So what happens tomorrow? I'm guessing the Leighton workers will clock on at six am ready for work.

Gets sworn in this week , then shuts it down, but MRD already know it coming so do the contractors, MRD would of been preparing for this for weeks. Basically they will be there packing up.

Btw, when MRD got told to draft up the contracts so close to the election they specically insisted on a cancellation clauss in all the contacts in event of change of gov. So ending them is a pretty simple business, just a matter of paying for work done.
