The whole world is going downhill!

But it was marvellously refreshing to hear on the radio news this afternoon, the prime minister asking some good questions. And he too, would like answers.
But he needs to stay on track and get the answers to many, many more important questions. But at least he has got the ball rolling. It just needs to gather a bit of pace whereby the populous is kept informed. This event should not be forgotten. Answers are needed.

This has really pissed me off, I try hard to be tolerant and say hello/G'day to anyone I pass in the street. But.....
Of the top 10 hot spots in the world regarding conflict 8 involve the Islamic religion, the other two are N.Korea & S.Korea and China/Japan/S.Korea/Vietnam 7 the Philipines.
Once they transit through more than one country that should end their claim. You csn't pick and choose where you go if you're a refugee, end of story.
Arrive here with no "paper work" then"no stay". End of story.
If they get refugee status then there should be a 10 year wait before they get citizenship. Any conviction then see ya.
Ask anyone who works in the public service and they can tell you about the 100's if not 1,000's who live in Lebanon and claim pension/dole etc from Australia, should not happen.
In Germany they are protesting about the Islamisation as in the rest of Europe. They don't have the same values. Child brides! Arranged marriages. The Aust embassy/consulate in Lebanon tries to keep the number of young Australian/Lebanese girls seeking assistance in distress as the were forced into a marriage.
I try hard to be tolerant, but it's getting hard when theey keep taking the piss!
If you come here escaping a way of life then either embrace the Australian way of life ....or leave , they won't be missed!

We can't blame all muzzos for being terrorist - I'm sure there are some very moderate ones out there somewhere. The problem I have, is that even the moderate ones don't honestly want to fit into the Aussie way of life. You will see the odd Imam speak out against the radicals, but then they disappear -they never follow up. This simply looks like lip service to me. Look at them in their own countries and the way they treat women, children and 'infidels'. They are still living in the 10th century. They don't want to assimilate, they want to dominate.

Agree, Italians Greeks Chinese Japanese etc, dont "force" food companies to change to halal food, yet the muslims seem to demand we cater for them? WHY???

I'd go further Anchor...... MUSLIM STRIKES SYDNEY IN ACT OF WAR ...I'm not going to kid myself that this piece of shit acted alone under no influence and/or direction or without help from others....the gun came from somewhere unless he smuggled it thru immigration. If we think we, we being the western world, aren't at war with Islam we are kidding ourselves. This was no lunatic, this was a calculated attack by an evil individual in the heart of Sydney, a brainwashed soldier of a religious crusade that will continue to it's last breath is expired, no matter what the damage to humanity. Whilst our societies continue to tolerate hatred in any of its shapes and forms, be that religious, economical, geographical, gender or cultural, this war will never end except thru an apocalyptic event. An unacceptable solution so I'm gonna have to pin my hopes on either alien intervention uniting humanity once and for all or hope that excessive in-breeding amongst our enemies as they have declared themselves brings them to their knees once and for all. Highly unlikely I know but I place more hope in this than waiting for some war-mongering God to magically appear on earth and convert all who don't believe in his vision in to an army of brainwashed slaves with no one else left to fight so where to next Allah, let alone any God showing his face to spread peace on earth in the face of all the worlds evils, western society's included. The solution relies 100% on humanity and we as a species just aren't up to the job.

Apparently, the prime minister has announced there is to be a joint federal/state investigation into what more could have been done to prevent the Lindt café siege.
Only hoping officialdom and politicians stop the buck passing, stupid political correctness and playing blame the previous government games!!!
