Dayle Garlett's prospects of getting drafted by St Kilda using their second pick has just gone through the roof.

What I don't understand is if they thought he was crap, why didn't they get rid of him at the end of August rather than now. If they had done that, they would have had a bigger group of coaches to pick from and it also would have given Watters a chance to get another gig ( either Senior or Assistant). It seems like this club has been good at shooting itself in the foot for over 100 years, why stop now?

I agree, it was a demonstration of how to say absolutely nothing in a press conference while still talking. Waste of time it was.

It beggars the question abt y did lyon really leave, I suppose we could ask Alves, Watson and Blight

I genuinely feel sorry for the Saints and their long suffering supporters. They've battled through adversity for years, now this. Always had a soft spot for them, now I guess it's softer! Their management is a bad joke.
