All this stuff is simply a complete shambles. Reading between the lines, the % of triple vaccinations will need to be 90 before the state opens. Although hope I'm wrong. Currently the triple vaccinations are running at 31 percent I'm told. 

Yes it's somewhere around that mark WAG. The problem is that the longer we wait, the less effective the vaccinations are for those who went in early to get a third dose because of age or underlying health conditions. That means the most vulnerable will be at greater risk if the borders stay shut for more than a few months.

MO, I'm still trying to get my head around the scenario whereby if I fly into WA direct from overseas I have 2 weeks of hotel quarantine at my own expense whereas if in fly in through the eastern states then travel onto WA, I can self isolate at home for 2 weeks.  Who thought that up and what the hell is it trying to achieve?

He also announced he is launching yet another suit a $50 Million personal suit against Mc Gowan and the State Solicitor as well as others.

We have been the national laggards on vaccination for months and we never reached the 90% target of double vax either, it stalled at 88.

The clown says we are currently at 90.2% dd and 32.7% td today, factual, who knows

I honestly don't know where to find accurate vaccination rates anymore. The WA Today site used to be brilliant but just before Xmas eve it stalled on the same stat for a few days and has never seemed to catch up since. I've reported it to them even sent them screen shots. All I get is thank you it's been passed on to the appropriate department but it doesn't correlate with what they've been reporting on the news.

They've been saying on the news for a while now WA is over 90% vaxed 12 and over. WA Today shows as of today 89.27% 16+ and only 88.13% for 12+. www.watoday.com.au/national/covid-19-glo...t-found-refresh=true

To give you some idea how stuffed the hospitals are my elederly mother went to hospital 3 times over the last weekend, Charlies first - sent home , FSH - Sent home again, FSH 8 hour wait finally diagnosed with Shingles...

Hopeless.

 

Mate shingles is no minor thing for the elderly my dear old mum had it quite badly and it was very debilitating and a major impact on her quality of life, hope your mum's on the improve now she has a diagnosis.
