Bashes the door wide open for 9 and Foxtel/Kayo doesn't it? I know Foxtel/Kayo would have been part of the 7 deal anyway just like AFL but they can negotiate with 9 on a joint deal.

There won't be any tennis with crowds in Australia this summer I'd bet my left nut on it.

Kayo has their criket, Ch 9 wont be coming back.

This is a sad sad day for cricket in WA.
The womens cricket has gone to NSW hub.
The sheffield shield will go to a hub in SA for the first 4 rounds
No international Cricket in WA
BBL perhaps in WA after Christmas
Looks like I will be watching international games and the IPL on Kayo.
I guess my $780 WACA membership will be going towards funding our State teams in a Hub
somewhere in Aus.

Some of the decisions made by CA's board have been wrong in recent years.Look at the way CH9 has looked after the NRL.They had a similar commitment to CA.
The writing was on the wall early last week.When 7 dumped the Big Bash.Claiming with the travel-Covid restrictions. There would not be enough International players available.Umm they have all moved to the league in Bangladesh the last few seasons.That now clashes with the BBL.
And where has CA invested there money.Not in a stable super fund by the sounds of it.Some dodgy high risk, big return or big loss scheme..
CH7's heart was never in it.There footy in the winter and Tennis in the summer.If CH9 said no to CA.It looks like ABC or SBS with little or no royalties..
I seek a really good opportunity here for CH 10 with the cashed up American owners..They done a wonderful job broadcasting the BBL for 7 seasons..And would do the same in the test summer.
