Just look at Victoria atm.It will take months for them to get on top of this current outbreak. They have gone back in time ,March 2020.

Even if Clive successful in the high Court. With Wa's hard border deemed unconstitutional. Sneakers may just ignore the court's decision and keep the borders closed.

Mate with the current outbreak in Vic, I would be willing to wager my house on the HCA upholding the States rights to control infectious diseases, it well established law, Palmers case will be chucked out quick smart.

Otherwise we will be back to square (Phase) 1 in no time with thousands of infected Viccos running around the joint!

Sneakers mentioned that Palmers idiot court case should be abandoned after Gladys Alphabet closed her border with Vic, therefore with the PM and the Vic & NSW premiers supporting border closure, surely the Fat Bannana has no case.

I don't see why everyone including the Premier is getting their knickers in a twist over Clive Palmer wanting to come here. FFS the guy is one of the richest men in Australia and we are benefiting from millions in royalties and taxes pouring into the state and the entire Australian economy from his business interests. If that doesn't count as essential travel for a business man I'd like to know what does?

Kerry and his misses got a free pass to come home (I doubt he calls Perth home most of the year) and go straight home without going into forced isolation. Sneakers is just worried Clive is going to get on the campaign trail and do some damage.

But I am 100% in favour of a hard border closure for non essential travel. ScoMo better be careful, if the High Court bid is successful and it opens the floodgates for Mexicans to cross the border and we start seeing outbreaks and community spread and it results in scaling back our new found freedoms, WA voters will make the Federal government pay a hefty price at the next election.

MMMM are you the Brazilian President in drag! He is just a person who rips off his workers and is willing to pay to skew our electoral process!

understand the side but the rules are in place for a reason and Victoria underlines the WA case

Palmer has spent sfa here. He has the mining lease at Cape Preston and Sino Iron bought the mining rights from his company Mineralogy and developed the operation whilst also paying an on-going big fat royalty based on tonnages shipped to Palmer for the privilege.

Not sure how this is all going to end. If we open the border then our cases will rise for sure, then what, back to lockdown? Can't keep people locked down forever and can't keep the border closed forever and I doubt there will be an effective vaccine ever. So what will it become, every man for himself, isolate yourself if you are worried about it??

I was just reading some research from Spain where people who display no or mild symptoms may or may not develop antibodies and even if they do, they tend to disappear in a matter of weeks meaning those people could become reinfected at a later date....so yes, where will it all end without an effective vaccine?

Palmer is a big fat MEGALOMANIAC and hypocrite who profited squillions from the chinese then was quick to turn on them.
